'My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Villa Anfitrite, even though at first impression we were a little skeptical. Maybe we were a bit naive, but we didn't realize how difficult it is to get to most places in Positano, a beautiful town rising from the bay straight up. 'Lovely stay …a picture perfect sea front water view; fabulous breakfast with eggs, bacon/sausage, pastries, salad, cheeses, fruit, fresh bread, hard boiled eggs, salmon, etc. all on their sea front restaurant; the staff is simply amazing; area is fabulous - like a postcard but it is Positano so bring comfy shoes and good lungs for all the steps. There Is no lift so pack light but there is a sweet porter that will carry luggage to/from room. Good WiFi; near oodles of restaurants- steps required...

'I loved everything about Il Moro Di Positano! The view when you get off the elevator is incredible!! Our room was large and comfortable, and our patio was huge with the most amazing view!! I would stay here again for sure! Our host Riccardo was so accommodating - he even opened the breakfast room early so we could eat before we left to catch the ferry! Thank you!! '

'Positano is not for the weak of walking, if you can't or have large issues with walking this is not the place for you unless you have a Sherpa. That being said, Villa Yiara is fantastic, this was an anniversary trip for us so yes, we splurged and paid for the suite. The staff is so helpful. They have a list of restaurants to try and one of them even has a driver that will pick you up and return you to your hotel at no charge,, but tip the driver please. 'We stayed there for 5 nights. First of all, the location can not be better. It is literally right next to the most recognizable church in Positano. We were actually able to see our room from many pictures we took of Positano. Second, it comes with breakfast which is very helpful. 'Such a great experience! I booked a room with a large terrace right above the entrance of the hotel. It's quite a big room and the view is great. You definitely get a view over the sea, although I'm sure there are other hotels nearby with a better view. But you'll probably pay a lot more for that. All in all this a great hotel to stay. One thing that could have been better is the breakfast though, there is just not a lot of choice. You are better off eating somewhere else... but in Positano you...
