'We found out last minute that Expedia had overbooked the property so we were left without accommodations for multiple hours on each day. Luxury Atitlan did its ultimate best to accommodate our stay. We would love to hear back from Expedia as we were forced to move on four separate occasions. One particular night was completely off-site and was not comparable to what the nightly cost was. '

He is a scammer, asked us to pay him cash because according to him he had not received payment from Vrbo/HomeAway and our pending charge on our credit card would be removed. 'Beautiful spacious property with plenty of space for us (family of four adults). The kitchen had all the required pots, pans and tools. Great experience staying here, close to the waterfront, shopping and restaurants. '

'It is set out as a Luxury apartment but can't really qualify as such. It is nice, but quite noisy as it is right next to a restaurant with live music. Also quite smelly from all the restaurants' grey water just flowing into the lake outside the windows. The bathroom is also very damp with mold on the walls. Everything else was good though, and the hosts were very responsive.'

'This place is in such a great location, out of the hustle but 2 blocks away. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. The apartment has a rooftop terrace which is a great place to enjoy the afternoon sunset over the volcanos. 10 out of 10.'
