Our modern Eco friendly forest home is super clean, spacious and it comes equipped with washer and dryer. Located in a friendly small town.

What a wonderful location! We enjoyed the nearby waterfall hikes. But even better was the beauty and solitude of the place. It has everything we needed to be able to just stay out and enjoy the nature.
There really are toucans that visit the property!

Gloria was a pleasure to deal with. She was available at any point in our stay. The home is unique, fun and quite amazing. It felt like we were staying in the jungle. For a truly unforgettable place, I recommend this home.

Everything about this place is a little magical and Gloria was the best host in terms of communication and recommendations. Would highly recommend exploring La Paz waterfall gardens and getting to Poas to see the volcano up close that you can see from the house. Also, would highly recommend having Yadi handle any meals as they were delicious and delivered right to the house. Take the time to explore the property and take the trail to the river. It’s a beautiful spot and great place to end our Costa Rica trip.

The house and the gardens are amazing! The large patios enabled us to enjoy being outside in spite of some rainy weather. We saw lots of beautiful birds.The neighbors were so friendly. We didn't have a car but one of them drove a taxi so it was easy to get to town, and another, Yadi, delivered delicious home cooked meals. It was a delightful experience!

Most relaxing vacay ever!

This home is a perfect retreat when you need rest. The outdoor spaces are perfect to watch birds, hear monkeys, experience the vegetation and enjoy fresh lemons and coconuts! We only left to attend a wedding otherwise we simply enjoyed the home and the rain forest.

Wildlife Haven!!

Such a perfect, clean, and private location that suited our family's needs. We walked the trail to the river several times during the day and night to observe the wildlife and photographed so many birds, insects, reptiles, and amphibians. We could have spent the entire week here!

This is a beautiful house surrounded by tropical vegetation with a lot of different patios and terrace. We saw two toucans feasting in the banana trees! Muchas gracias Gloria! We really enjoyed our stay!

This stay was a wonderful experience! We spent Christmas at Gloria's house and it was perfect. The house and grounds are beautiful, with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed the well-maintained trail down to the river from the house, and visited the Blue Falls - highly recommend for those able to manage some stairs and elevation. We had a couple dinners cooked by the neighbors and they were delicious. Yadi and her family are very kind, and invited the kids to see their newborn calf. We enjoyed listening to the monkeys and watching the toucans and hummingbirds. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, beautiful setting

My family of 5 loved this home! We stayed just two nights after staying near Manuel Antonio and then La Fortuna so we could visit the Blue Falls and have a short drive back to SJO - and then wished we could stay longer. The home is very well stocked, has several cute sitting areas, and is perfect for bird watchers. We really enjoyed a dinner in that the neighbor prepared for us. Our stay definitely exceeded our expectations!

This was a beautiful property inside and out. We loved the space. It was comfortable and clean. We loved exploring outside too. Perfect for our family to spend time together. The outdoor living areas make this home a stand out property when visiting the Bajos Del Toro area. There are so many different options to congregate outdoors, all with details in mind for different times of day and all with comfortable furniture. We had the neighbor bring us dinner and it was so convenient and delightful. She also brought us some empanadas for breakfast and they were a fast favorite. We took the walk down to the river and it was after a particularly heavy rain so keep in mind that the walk can get very slippery so take care. The host was so helpful and communicative. I would absolutely recommend this home to others. Just keep in mind, this type of home is for the adventurers. This is located in the cloud forest where bugs, and nature abound and are part of the charm. The screened in porches are placed to allow visitors to enjoy nature while limiting exposure to insects, but don't be surprised if a little visitor or two make is past the screens. Plan accordingly.

Fabuleux

Magnifique maison avec de très grands espaces, un environnement extérieur exceptionnel. La maison dispose de beaucoup d'équipements, rien ne manque. Une decoration interieure superbe. A wonderful, unique place to stay

We absolutely loved this house, grounds, and location. The owner has thought of all the little things that make a house feel like a home. The huge outdoor porches with comfortable tables and chairs while looking at the Poas Volcano in the distance is a dream come true. Howler monkeys talked to us every day and the bird life surrounded the entire area. We really did wake to Toucans and Monkeys. If you want a place to stay that you’ll always want to come back to then this is it. Owner Gloria goes above all expectations to make this both comfortable and unique. Wish we could give it 10 stars.

Another day in Paradise

Our stay exceeded our expectations and was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica. Our hostess, Gloria, was amazing. She communicated in a prompt and caring manner to any questions. We were greeted by the wonderful neighbors upon arrival. Warm empanadas when we arrived, breakfast prepared at our house the next morning and dinner with amazing neighbors. I truly felt like I had landed in Heaven. We will return and absolutely appreciate the opportunity to experience a piece of Heaven on earth! Do not miss an opportunity to enjoy this fabulous property.

2024 Costa Rican Getaway

I have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this is by far one of the most unique & amazing. Very clean & comfortable. There are a lot of areas to spread out & enjoy your stay. My favorite was the raised deck above the parking area. Very Clean. Well appointed. Easy to codes & key for access & security. The host, Gloria was amazing, friendly, professional, responsive, & extremely helpful. The delivered local foods were unexpected & very very thoughtful. This place is exotic! 6 of us stayed here with plenty of space. The first day some of our group was ill and so we stayed in most of the day. It still felt like an exotic vacation. The views of the jungle, the wild life, and the plants are amazing on this property. We loved how much character the property and house has! The beds were so comfortable. The house had everything we needed. Gloria was so responsive and helpful. There is so much to do once we left the property. The neighbors are so nice! The local places to eat and close grocery stores were perfect. This place is next level! Our family travels often and I would recommend this place to everyone! Price was perfect!
