Fantastic big rooms and pool facilities. We didn’t like the impersonal check-in, many questions of the waiters, no drinking water in the room, renovations works with a lot of noise. There should be more food options.

While several of the staff were pleasant and quite lovely, the property itself (Hilton Cabo Azul) doesn't do much to encourage or incentivize potential customers or timeshare ownership. I requested bottled water and was immediately to "no, we don't provide or offer complimentary water." Further, pool staff refused to bring tap water and ice but stated we could only purchase bottled water.

Fantastic resort! Super clean. Staff was friendly and super fast to help. Wish this resort had more dining options. However, you can walk just across the street to some restaurants. Restaurants at the resort are super expensive, same as many other restaurants in Cabo. Poolside drinks and food are also very expensive. We ordered a bottle of Mionetto prosecco at the pool and paid nearly $100! (Which is normally less that a $20 bottle of prosecco). You’re not allowed to bring your own drinks / snacks to the pool either. We brought our own bottle of water and was told by the staff we couldn’t do that, so they do enforce it.

The property is beautiful. We were offered a shot upon check in. They should also offer champagne or wine for those who do not drink tequila. The restaurants are nice but the food and alcohol was not great. I rate the food a 2. Breakfast should be included. Or maybe 1 day breakfast included. That’s the only reason for the 4 stars. We ate Breakfast offsite. The penthouse was as expected and was exactly what we needed for a party of 5. Literally everything else was a dream. Service was wonderful. Bladimiro was always on time and very nice. I would stay again with the understanding that eating off site is the better option.

I didn't think the bar drinks warranted the high price they asked. Too expensive! At check out I was fine to pay our consumables charged to our room. However, there were unexplained taxes, sewage use from the city, and many other items that could not be explained to me. I want to have all of that expense up front and paid when I book the room. Very disappointing.

This property is absolutely beautiful and the staff is so nice, friendly and helpful. The food was good at all of the restaurants. The pools were beautiful and water was good temperature. My only compliant would be the lack of drinking water available. To buy bottled water was so expensive and they didn’t have filtered refill stations available.

The property itself was gorgeous as were the accommodations. The locations is too far from medano beach and Cabo activities, but if you’re interested in staying on resort by the pool this is perfect. The one big downside is the pool chair situation. Chairs were full by 6am. Cabanas are first come first serve and to have to wake up early on vacation and save chairs is absolutely absurd. There are signs posted everywhere that chairs are not to be saved for longer than 30 minutes, but clearly the property does not enforce that at all. Even getting there at seven chairs were all full. All in all, it was a beautiful resort that we stayed out with a large group of people for a birthday however, next time I will stay closer to town at our regular resort. Also, the demographic was definitely for a senior crowd.

Everything is way over priced and the food is super limited. 2 medium regular coffees and a pastry will run you over 30 bucks. If you want good food for a fraction of the cost, you will have to walk across the street.

The staff was absolutely amazing from arrival to departure. The grounds are beautful and there are daily evidences of the attention to detail and cleanliness the staff takes to make it so. My room was comfortable and well-appointed. (junior 1, pool view) I am generally not a large resort type of traveler as my preference is for more boutique stays but I can honestly say I really enjoyed my stay here and would gladly return and recommend. I don't like the large crowds of folks and it can be challenging to find that perfect pool/beach chair due to the heavy traffic but a relatively small price to pay. I did wish the beach was swimmable. It's located on that part of the beach where it's restricted so you only walk on the beach or enjoy the view from your chair. Even setting up on the beach is not practical due to the heat and lack of umbrellas. All in all, I still rank it high on the resort scale. I'm already missing my time there.

The rooms were great, the cost of food and drinks was very expensive, the $44 hamburger was of poor quality and very dry. The staff was very friendly and professional at the front desk. Don’t believe it when you are told tax and fees are included. They charge an additional $165 a day when you check in.

This was our fourth time at this resort and always have had an amazing experience. My ONLY complaint was that this property happened to be fully booked and people were coming down at 4:30 in the morning to save chairs and not showing up until noon to use them. In order to get a chair at the pool all week we had to be down there by 6am at the latest. Some people saved chairs that were never used and people were searching for places to sit. We were in our chairs by 7am every day and I think they need to police this more and if people don't come down they remove their stuff and give it to someone else.

Cabos Azul is a gorgeous property! My daughters and I had a wonderful spring break vacation here. I do wish some food had been included in the hefty price tag per night and resort fee; the dining in could’ve been a little less expensive for what we were ordered but it was a part of the experience I suppose. Sadly there was also no shuttle to pick us up from the airport and as first time travelers to Mexico, that was a bit intimidating. All in all though… gorgeous property and great staff experience. Christian was extremely helpful getting us set up and into our beautiful suite.
