'Uitstekend verblijf. Vriendelijke gastheer. Prachtig huis .Wel afgelegen van de andere Toscaanse hotspots. In juli warm! Misschien met de opwarming toch airco voorzien in de kamers?'

'We waren met ons gezin (2 kinderen 7 en 9jr) en hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Het zwembad was heerlijk en wordt zeer goed onderhouden. Het ontvangst en bij vragen zijn gastvrouw / gastheer heel goed bereikbaar en behulpzaam. Het huis is netjes en schoon, we vonden het ruimer en mooier dan op de foto’s. Zowel in de ochtend als in de avond is het genieten op het terras achter het huis. Wij vonden het ideaal dat er een wasmachine en droger aanwezig waren en zelfs bij het zwembad een extra...

'The pictures don't do the place justice. This villa is like something out of a Hollywood Rom Com set in an idealistic fictional Tuscan village. Not only is the villa and the views from every window simply stunning, the town of Loro Cuifena is one of the prettiest villages in all of Italy. The ONLY downside is that the drive up the mountain to the villa is not for the feint of heart.'

'It was absolutely marvelous. The owner of the property was so informative on places to visit, and places to eat etc. We had a wooden time and I would recommend that everyone stay here at least once in your lifetime.'

'Het is een prachtig, goed onderhouden, ruim huis met alle voorzieningen en een beschutte tuin en het was een heerlijke plek om Toscane te ontdekken. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst en uitgebreide uitleg. Er was later een probleempje met een airco en dat werd na melding via whatsapp onmiddellijk opgepakt en verholpen.'

'The house is amazing. The view all aroud is so much more beautiful than captured in pictures. Great place right in the middle of wineyards and olivetrees. It was perfectly clean and has everything you need and many more. We have had awesome nights baking pizza and playing pool. The location of the villa is ideal nearby Florence and Lucca. The owners are very kind and help you wherever they can. The wine and olive oil they had for us tasted also very good. We would definitely recommend this...

'We had a pleasant and wonderful time with eight adults (parents + 6 young people between 20 and 26) in Civitella in Val di Chiana. The location has a nice swimming pool where we spent some time. From the cottage there are many opportunities for walking and cycling to nice places; Monte San Savino, Lucignano and many more picturesque villages nearby. 'We had the most amazing time at Il Poggio! The property is well maintained, Roberta and Marina were incredible, and the location could not be beat. We took day trips (by car) to Siena, Arezzo, Florence, Orvieto, and Montalcino, all of which were easily and quickly accessible. Each of our five guests (two couples, one single!) had their own floor and bathroom. We cooked in the well-stocked kitchen, drank wine while watching the sunrise on the patio, and were transported to the past walking...

'Our stay was amazing. The location was beautiful and easy for us to explore the surrounding area with ease. The house was beautiful, very clean and our host was most gracious. Upon arrival we had made a passing comment on how beautiful the patio terrace was and how a fire pit would be a nice touch so that we could enjoy it longer into the cool night. After the dinner our host organized for us at a local restaurant we returned to having a fire pit and wood on the patio. They went above and beyond...

'Everything about our stay was perfect - the house was absolutely incredible and the view was unmatched. Serena was the best part of our stay. Her food was incredible and she was a joy to have around. The best dining experience we had in all of Tuscany! 'We were a group of 6 friends and stayed for a week. The property is very large and well maintained. The view is gorgeous and we couldn't get enough of the sunsets at dinner. There are lot of possibilities for excursions like bike tours, visiting interesting cities etc. and good restaurants in the surrounding area. 'It was a special family get away to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. The Villa is spectacular, but the views are incredible! We even watched a hot air balloon fly over Siena at dawn! Everything we could need to cook at the Villa was provided, we hired a chef on night and he had everything he needed as well!
