'We had a great stay! The home is absolutely beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The accommodations were comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. We loved the detail on leaving us a beautiful welcome basket. The location was perfect—beautiful oceanfront. Would definitely stay here again!'

'This is a nice house on a beautiful location with sublime views, but It could be so much more and better if it was just given some more attention and love. Everything is there to make it a perfect house. The outside needs some maintenance (paintwork and loose tiles from the pool). The inside is just poorly decorated with very old furniture and a very old kitchen. Everything was old and looked old and dirty. For instance the washing machine is rusty it makes you wonder what the clothes look like...

'My wife and I had a most pleasant stay for eight days at "Down by the Sea". Our accommodations there were very quite, very clean and very comfortable. Our hostess, Heike, was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. She was most helpful with directions and references for local eateries. "Down by the Sea" ,being right on the beach, could not be a better location. This was our fifth trip to Costa Rica but our first time to the Nicoya Peninsula. It is a beautiful part of the country. 'We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Down By the Sea with Heike and Hans as our welcoming hosts. The location is picturesque and is the perfect secluded beachfront hideaway where you can unplug. Very clean and we had everything we needed. We are already hoping to return soon.'
