Beautiful Property, Service Inconsistencies
My girlfriend and I stayed over Valentine’s Day weekend because of the hotel’s reputation for exceptional service and beautiful accommodations. The room itself was lovely, and I appreciated the help from the concierge when arranging a Valentine’s setup in advance.
Unfortunately, several service issues detracted from the experience. The shower water pressure was extremely poor one morning, only one robe was provided despite a couples stay, and room service was difficult to reach and arrived incomplete. There was also confusion regarding what was included in the Valentine’s package versus what was ultimately charged.
Given the nightly rate and the special occasion, we expected stronger attention to detail. Most disappointing, I emailed the hotel afterward to seek clarification and have not received a response.
The property itself is beautiful, and we truly wanted this to be a standout stay. With more consistent service and follow-through, it certainly could be.
