om hier een week te logeren zou ik dit hotel niet aanraden. Sommige leden van het team dat daar werkt deden erg hun best om het voor de gasten een fijn verblijf te maken. Drew en Lucie dankjewel!! In het algemeen is dit hotel erg basic en doet het zijn twee sterren eer aan. Wil je uit gaan eten en iets leuks vinden dan moet je er wel een eind voor lopen, zoals bv naar de Riverwalk. Er is wel het eea aan burgers en snacks in de buurt zoals een chickenfilet A. Ik was een week in dit hotel. Het bed was goed en schoon, zoals ook de kamer. Het hotel is een voormalige gevangenis, kleine ramen en weinig daglicht. In het algemeen was het er rustig. Als je er voor een of twee nachten alleen maar wil slapen en ontbijten lijkt het me een prima optie om hier te zijn. Verder blijft het uiteraard een kwestie van persoonkijke smaak en wensen.

Not the greatest part of town. Easy enough access to the River walk but have to go through quite a bit of homeless to do it. Didn’t feel too safe walking after dark. Also, parking was VERY limited at the hotel, maybe 5 spaces which was $15/night or offsite parking that was around the block for $10/night. Elevator was a bit shady at times and only 1. They charged my card before a day before my checkout with additional charges for the parking fees. Overall, I’d rather stay on the river walk next time.

The hotel is located in the original location of the San Antonio Jail from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Very interesting location for its historic location.

Parking is around the side of the building, which is opposite side of the ramp if you have a stroller or wagon or wheelchair. The elevator is all the way to the back of the building and the breakfast eggs are alreay precooked. The room size was perfect and clean. Love the shower size

This hotel is pretty nice with a decent Continental breakfast and comfy beds with nice pillows. One of my only complaints is the parking situation. Their lot only fits a handful of cars (less than 10) so unless you're really lucky, you'll likely be relegated to the overflow parking lot around the corner which is not only kinda sketchy, but you have to pay an extra $10 a night for the privilege. This is something I wish I would have known going in to it.

This property was very clean with decent size rooms. The distance to the Riverwalk and shopping was nice. Extremely quiet rooms from the outside noises. Breakfast had good options. For the price it was well worth it for the location.

Stayed for a week. The room was comfortable and cleaned regularly. The staff were friendly and fun to talk to, and the location was perfect for walking downtown. Pool area was clean. The stationary bike and the treadmill in the gym were both broken.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Room was a bit drab and rundown and the phone in the room wasn't working. The alarm clock wasn't set at the proper time. There was no phone in the hallway. I feel there should always be a phone in the hallway to reach the front desk in case of emergencies. My key wasn't working and I had to go down to the front desk because I couldn't call because there was no phone in the hallway. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Overall a pretty good experience.

They gave me the wrong type of room and when I asked for a reduction in rate, they started being rude to me. The parking is limited and unsafe. There was food left in the mini fridge from the previous guest. The front desk person refused to give her name and hung up the phone on me.
