'Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.'

'Prima locatie, dichtbij het centrum van Bar Harbor. Schone ruime kamer en genoeg parkeerplek achter het hotel. Het ontbijt had iets gevarieerder gekund, maar het was wel fijn dat er elke dag verse koekjes en cakejes werden gebakken.'

'Schone kamer, locatie top, Bar Harbor op loop afstand en beschikbaarheid van de koffie thee water fruit en sap was geweldig. Ontbijt was okay'

'Place was wonderful overall. Very clean, peaceful, and the most accommodating, and friendly, staff.'

'Our stay was amazing through and through. Everything was very clean, the inn was very cozy and felt like coming home. Juliana was incredibly helpful and her cooking was wonderful! From breakfast, to the 4 o’clock bakings, to the cookies and muffins you could grab to go, we WILL be back because of all that!'

'Pros: We loved the location (right in town), the free breakfast was great, the staff were all friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. Cons: The elevator didn’t work when we checked in so we had to carry our bags to the 3rd floor. Not the end of the world but not what you expect staying in a new hotel. Our room also smelled like stale cigarette smoke.'

'Beautiful place to say quiet location downtown Bar Harbor, easy to walk and get to anything. The staff was super friendly. Will be staying there again'

'Goede locatie, vriendelijke ontvangst, ruime parkeergelegenheid, grenst aan achterzijde aan het park, shuttle bus service is super handig ook als je om 08:30 een Whale Watch trip hebt geboekt, prima complimentary ontbijt (vers fruit beschikbaar zoals banaan, sinasappel, blauwe bessen)'

'Mooi modern hotel midden in het centrum . Hebben sauna , hot tub en fitness ruimte. De ruimte om het ontbijt te nuttigen is wel heel krap. Genoeg variatie . Kamer is netjes, schoon en modern.'

'No hot water placed a damper on an otherwise nice weekend. Would have enjoyed taking a shower!'

'We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking! Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell. There was hardly any space to keep luggage, no closet whatsoever. We could spent 2 hours at this place (1 hour of which was...

'I liked my stay at the Bat Harbor Grand Hotel. The room was good and spacious, breakfast was sufficient in choice and the surrounding island is beautiful. Parking super comfortable and free.'

'Great location next to Acadia/Bar Harbor! There was complimentary cookies at check in, and complimentary ice cream bars.'

'Good hotel Good price'
