Located in the heart of the wonderful city of Salerno, at Corso Vittorio Emanuele 126, overlooking the main shopping street and boasts an excellent position to visit Luci d'Artista, in whose splendor is immersed and whose light shines. A wonderful panoramic terrace-garden awaits you to sip aperitifs in tranquility. At Corso 126, you will find every comfort: new and complete furniture, washing machine, equipped kitchen, linen and towels, flat screen TV, air conditioning, sofa bed, detergents for the hygiene of the house at your disposal. In addition, hairdryer and kettle for tea and hot drinks, toiletries, soaps, cleaning at check-in with the possibility of daily cleaning fee. You will be greeted with a delicious welcome drink. Corso 126 guest house is about 400 meters from Salerno station, less than 50 meters from the court and is surrounded by bars and restaurants. It has a supermarket about 150 meters away and the possibility of paying parking with discount. We have an agreement with the beach service and with some of the most renowned restaurants in the city

Schlechte Kommunikation

Die Dame, die für uns zuständig war, war praktisch unsichtbar und sehr unfreundlich, nur weil wir kein WhatsApp hatten, sondern nur Signal!!! Wir haben sie nie gesehen!!!!Die Wohnung war nicht sehr sauber. An einem Abend haben wir sogar Kakerlaken in der Wohnung gefunden. Die Wohnung war sehr laut!!! In der Nacht haben Menschen geschrien, und es gab ständig Party. Zusammenfassend ist die Bewertung der Wohnung sehr negativ.

Fantastic Three Nights

Easily accessible from the train station. Centrally located. CLEAN AND SPACIOUS! We also easily walked to the ferry port for day trips to Amalfi, Positano, and trained to Agropoli. We cannot say enough what it means to have cleanliness in Italy. Will be back for certain!

Salerno paradise

Clean, fully equipped. Quiet. Everything we needed. We loved the balcony which had a water view. Perfect location close to all amenities. Right in the shopping district and a couple of blocks from the old town. Train station a short walk away. Great food options all around. I loved our stay in Salerno and would go back in a heartbeat. The owner was so kind and always available.

Great location but very noisy

First off the good - this is a great location and easy to get to from the train station - about a 10 minute walk, even if you walk slow. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi worked fine. It was also nice having a washing machine. Communication with the owner was great, but checkout time on the listing said 10:00 and then we received a text saying 9:15. Now the not so good news and I hate giving anything other than a good review but we were disappointed with the apartment. The apartment was very noisy early in the morning so unless you get up before about 5:30 then expect to be woken up by the trash trucks and street sweepers, in addition to the rest of the noise on the street. There was a very limited amount of hot water - literally within a couple of minutes we had to start turning the temperature up and even then another minute or so later we only had cold water. I always gauge a place with whether I would stay there again and this unfortunately would not be one of them.

Toller Urlaub in Salerno

Die Wohnung befindet sich im Stadtzentrum. Man ist sehr schnell bei div. Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch ein sehr toller Gemüsemarkt ist in der Nähe. Die Gastgeberin Mary haben wir leider nicht kennen gelernt. Aber bei Fragen oder Anliegen hat Sie immer sehr schnell reagiert. Sie hat auch nachgefragt wie es uns geht und ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wir werden diese Wohnung sicher wieder mieten

Mary is a very wonderful host! Easy check in/out, house is exactly as described. The location is close to everything, shopping, eating, and groceries, all on a closed pedestrian street. Mary went above and beyond I arrived needing medical care, providing information and making calls for us. I don’t wear shoes inside and can feel every bit of sand or grit on the floor, but NONE on this floor! Expertly cleaned, plenty of supplies, perfect location, and an exceptional host. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you, Mary!

This is NOT a two bedroom but a two room! The bedroom had a queen size bed and a fold out couch. The kitchen was supplied with a single bed. There is no separate living room. Also v.tiny coffee maker for 2 European espressos. Maria was lovely!

Living in pedestrian zone of Salerno

Amazing small and nicely decorated apartment in the pedestrian zone of Salerno, in the center of the town near the Centro Storico. Very clean and comfortable bedroom, equipped dining and kitchen room, small and very clean shower/toilet room. In the surroundings most of the touristic spots in easy walking distance and everywhere excellent restaurants. The apartment provides the real positive feeling of living in a vivid historical Italian town with kind and friendly people and with high comfort. Underground Parking with reasonable price available at 150m walking distance (better then parking in the road !). Perfect reachable touristic spots like Paestum (a must), Cave del' Tirreno (an unknown must), Cetera, Minori, Amalfi, Pompeji, .... Very attentive and discreet owner, always providing the feeling of being welcome. A place to return !!! Thank you Mary.

Casa comoda e bellissima

La casa è bellissima, la posizione, proprio sul corso principale di Salerno, è fantastica: vi sono stata a gennaio, e quindi ho anche avuto modo di vedere le famose e bellissime luminarie. La proprietaria è gentile e disponibilissima. Un soggiorno molto piacevole, credo che vi tornerò.

Good save on mixup

The hostess was very helpful when it became known I needed a place with 2 beds. My reservation request simply said 2 people which I thought would be fine when I read the property description that it could sleep up to 4. Turns out there are different 'apartments' on the property. She got us set up with another property that worked out fine. I would definitely try to stay here again but would be more specific about the # of beds needed.

Un bellissimo fine settimana a Salerno

Abbiamo trascorso un bellissimo fine settimana a Salerno, l'appartamento è molto ben attrezzato ed arredato, la posizione è centralissima, una soluzione alloggiativa ideale per chi come noi ha bimbi piccoli. Per chi vuol godersi a pieno le luci d'artista di Salerno questo appartamento è strategico per posizione e vicinanza ai maggiori punti di interesse e ai numerosi ottimi locali e ristoranti. Perfetto anche per chi vuol dedicarsi allo shopping nei tanti negozi che offre il centro. Infine c'è un valore aggiunto che è dato dalla gentilezza e dalla premura della proprietaria Marilena che ha dimostrato con noi rare qualità professionali ed umane. Sicuramente da consigliare, noi senz'altro ritorneremo.

Good location, needs improvement

The apartment is in a good location: five minutes walk to the train station, close to restaurants, shopping, and within walking distance to the famous "luci d'artista" during the December holidays. The unit was quite noisy at night due to it facing directly on a high-traffic pedestrian area. The cleanliness of the bathroom was very disappointing, in particular the shower was not clean at all, probably someone forgot to clean the bathroom before our arrival. Apparently, the unit has a very small sized water heater, as there was not enough running hot water even for a quick one person shower. Also, the shower stall was very cramped and was uncomfortable and not at all adequate for guests needing a reasonable shower. No instructions on how to operate the heaters, and one of the two remotes was unable to control the heater. The unit is stocked with some comfort items for breakfast, water and juice. However, they are not complimentary (there is a price list). One would expect they would be complimentary, given the price paid for the room. Due to a misunderstanding on check-in time and instructions, the owner was very kind to waive us the 8 euros for our late checkin. Besides location, overpriced for comfort and cleanliness.
