Very comfortable chalet close to the Orres ski resort in Embrun.

At an altitude of 1200 m, in Saint-Sauveur in the heart of a small typical village of the Hautes Alps with several hamlets, this recent chalet made with larch wood will take you into a mountain universe thanks to its neat and typical decoration and its mountain furniture made with larch wood and Swiss pine. With excellent sun exposure from morning to evening, you will be able to enjoy the big covered terrace even in winter with magnificent view to the valley, the Serre- Ponçon Lake and the surrounding mountain. Away from roads, you will enjoy the absolute calmness of the big closed tree filled garden where children can play safely. In winter, you are 10 minutes away from the Orres ski resort and 20 minutes away from the family ski resort of Crevoux. You can leave directly from the chalet either to go for a walk or snow shoeing in the forest, or to discover the mountain while hiking or mountain biking through the tens of marked paths or to cross the mythical mountain pass of the Alps nearby. You are 10 minutes away from the Serre-Ponçon Lake and the Embrun Lake with its supervised beach where you can go swimming in summer. You will also be able to discover the rich not only natural but also cultural heritage (visit to the dam of Serre-Ponçon, the Cistercian Abbey of Boscodon, the cathedral of Embrun, the Fort of Vauban de Montdauphin nearby). Around 120 sq.m. On the first floor, there is a dining room and a living room with a flat screen television, an open plan kitchen with quality equipment (SIEMENS pyrolysis oven, microwave oven, Liebher freezer, Kenwood mixer, Magimix percolator…), a bathroom, separate toilets, and a bedroom with a bed of 160 cm and a television. Furniture made with larch wood and Swiss pine by a cabinetmaker from the village. South oriented terrace with a larch wood lunch table for 10 people. On the second floor, there are 4 bathrooms; 1 bed of 160 cm, 2 beds of 140 cm, 2 beds of 80 cm and a pull out bed of 80 cm. It is possible to get 2 cribs (0-4 years old). There is a bathroom and a separate toilet with a sink. There is quality linen. Underground, there is a garage of 80 sq.m for 2 cars where you can find a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a Ping-Pong table, and a WEBER barbecue.

The location is wonderful with very nice sunset. Easy access to main road. The chalet is very clean and we find everything what we need for living there in our holiday. The kitchen is very well equipped. We felt like home in this place. Check in / check out was very quick and Mrs Nathalie was very friendly and professional. Communication with owner was very easy and helpful. Definitely we will go again. Highly recommended this place.

Idéalement situé et arrangé avec beaucoup de goût le chalet est un havre de paix avec vue sur la vallée . Par Beau temps les levés et couchés de soleil sont magnifiques. L'accueil par Nathalie a été parfait et le panier d'accueil nous a ravis les papilles. Vraiment Mr Marques à tout prévu pour le bien être de notre séjour et plus encore. Merci pour cette semaine de Noël pleinement appréciée.

ENVIRONNEMENT REPOSANT

Belle propriété très propre avec beaucoup d'espace, décorée avec gout et chaleureuse dans le visuel mais sans chauffage dans le salon séjour cuisine et l'interdiction de se servir de la cheminée. Nous sommes donc restés couverts et avons passé un agréable séjour.

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le chalet des Fâchins . Ce chalet est spacieux , très bien agencé , fonctionnel et très propre, et nous y avons cohabité en famille à 8 avec grand bonheur. Le chalet est en tous points conforme au descriptif, il est remarquablement équipé et nous nous y sommes tout de suite sentis " chez nous" . Nous y avons partagé de bons dîners traditionnels ( tartiflette, raclette, fondue !!!) sur la grande table, au coin du feu , mais nous avons aussi apprécié la belle terrasse ensoleillée pour des déjeuners avec vue sur le lac ... Une merveille! D'autant que nous avons profité d'un soleil magnifique, sans un nuage, durant durant toute la semaine! La vue depuis le chalet est un ravissement à toute heure de la journée, le jardin est très agréable. A Saint Sauveur, nous étions à proximité de la station familiale de Crévoux- La Chalp, parfaite pour les balades en raquettes et le ski de fond, mais aussi proches des Orres, pour le ski alpin ( qui peut aussi être pratiqué à Crévoux). Nous avons profité aussi des joies de la randonnée, puisque de nombreux sentiers sont accessibles à pied depuis le chalet. Nous avons terminé le séjour par une balade en traîneau à chiens à la station de Vars, avec " Mushers and Co " ! C'est une expérience sportive, exceptionnelle, que nous recommandons. Merci à Nathalie pour son accueil et son " au revoir" chaleureux, et ses conseils avisés pour les pizzas de " chez Pierrot ", excellentes! Merci au propriétaire pour sa disponibilité , les échanges faciles et cordiaux et ses délicieuses attentions gourmandes à notre arrivée! Nous espérons bien revenir une prochaine année et pourquoi pas découvrir aussi les plaisirs de cette belle région l'été ! Une location parfaite donc, que je recommande vivement!

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances de Noël. Chalet très confortable, lumineux et parfaitement équipé. Accueil très chaleureux, propriétaire disponible en cas de questions... Le top ! Il faut prendre la voiture pour aller a la station mais c'est très rapide et le retour au calme ensuite est très appréciable. Et que dire de la vue.... ! Magnifique...

A beautifully designed chalet in pretty mountain hamlet with a stunning lake view

We have just returned from a week's summer holiday in the Marques family chalet in Saint-Saveur and think we possibly had the best accommodation in the whole Serre Poncon valley! The chalet itself is very comfortable and well-designed. There are wonderful views from every room and it is spacious, light and airy, even in very high summer temperatures. We loved the three eating areas (in the main room, on the balcony and in the garden) and thought the chalet was very well equipped with everything we needed. On three nights we had BBQ's. The garden is pretty, safe and full of fruit trees - we picked and ate nectarines every day. The views of the lake are stunning, and change every hour of the day, from the clarity of the early morning, to the haze of the late afternoon and lit up in the evening with sparkling lights across the valley. In every other direction there are stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You can go on walks from the chalet and you can also walk to a wonderful restaurant called Les Manins where you will have a memorable meal. Nathalie who is the key holder is extremely kind and helpful. The chalet was immaculate when we arrived and she gave us lots of advice on where to go and some of her favourite places in the valley. There are lots of helpful tourist brochures and maps in the chalet (as well as books and board games). Jean Pierre Marques was extremely helpful when we booked and made the whole process very easy for us. We were absolutely delighted to find this wonderful chalet in this unique area. It seems few British people come on holiday in this area and we feel we've discovered something pretty special. There is so much to do for all age groups including all water sports and white water activities, incredible walking, culture (Embrun is a lovely historic town) and of course skiing in winter. Our thanks to Nathalie and the Marques family.

les enfants petits et grands se sont régalés dans la neige ainsi que lilou notre cocker (nous nous ne sommes pas skieur.).....propriétaires très sympathique ,malgré que nous ne nous sommes pas rencontrer .chalet tout a fait conforme aux photos ,très confortable ,au calme avec une vue superbe .été comme hiver vous aller vous régaler. a 3kms vous avez un restaurant LES MANINS ou nous y avons passes un bon moment cuisine simple, mais bonne . voila que vous dire de plus si ce n'est n’hésiter pas ,vous ne serait pas déçu.......

Nous avons passé un Noêl en famille avec nos enfants, petits enfants et la famille de notre belle-fille venue nous rejoindre depuis Angers....Vacances dans un chalet superbe, très propre, bien agencé, spacieux, au coin du feu...Nous y reviendrons sûrement. Le propriétaire est adorable au téléphone, compréhensif et accueillant Nous ne l'avons pas rencontré (dommage) mais Nathalie la personne qui nous a réceptionné est adorable, nous avons été très bien accueillis Michelle Deldossi ps : un petit bêmol...présence de nombreuses mouches (voir produit en droguerie svp...)

Séjour magnifique

C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons chez Monsieur Marques, et nous sommes toujours enchantés à la fin de notre séjour. Le chalet est spacieux et très bien équipé. Nous avons apprécié la sensation d'espace tant dans le chalet que la vue depuis la terrasse. Le chalet a l'atout du calme, car il se situe dans un petit village, mais bénéficie, par sa proximité, à toutes les activités nautiques et de montagne. Je terminerai par saluer la gentillesse des propriétaires.
