This property is very conveniently placed for getting to most parts of the island by car and bicycle. There is ample parking and opportunities for al fresco eating in the leafy garden. There is a beach only about 5-10 min walk away. The host is readily contactable and provided a lot of useful information.On arrival, our first impression was that the property was not as pristine as the photos would lead you to believe, particularly given the large service fee. Although bed linen was provided, the quilts had not been put in the quilt covers (note it could be argued that the quilts weren't needed as the temperatures were so high). We had to replace a couple of light bulbs from spares provided (perhaps something to add to the cleaner's checklist). The pantry didn't have a light and the outside furniture needed a good clean before use. There weren't enough mugs for the number of guests and although there was a large range of cooking utensils, we suggest providing some smaller more conveniently sized saucepans.As compared to the property we had rented the week prior in Carnac, we felt that this was overpriced.
