'The location of Elaine's is perfect for exploring Dominica. We had a fantastic 11 day stay and managed to catch the sunset from the deck at Elaine's almost every night. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped, the place was clean with plenty of spare towels and beach towels, the AC worked very well (and was quiet!). The bed is on the firm/hard side but in good shape. Elaine and Kurt were quick at responding to small issues that arose and helpful as we tried to find our way around. Note...

'Our host was generous, kind and helpful. Irwin and Maya their children and nephew were delightful. We had privacy and hardly heard the family above us. Girudel, the garden basket, was beautiful and high enough in the mountain to be cool. The flowers, lush forest and gardens were stunning. '

'Lovely views across the street to the ocean, worth taking a camera there with you, birdlife including humming birds, and the sunsets over the ocean, twice we saw the elusive "green flash". They have hire cars next to the accommodation. You will need a hire card to get around or organise a driver / licenced tour guide & vehicle to get around'

'Fantastic experience. Place is walking distance to Roseau town, Stadium and The Factory. Room AC, living room has a fan no worries about feeling overheated. The shower was massive. I recommend this place !'
