At the Song of the Fountain – La Fougère Cottage

Nestled in a small hamlet surrounded by nature, this comfortable and welcoming cottage invites you to relax to the gentle sound of a refreshing, drinkable fountain. The Saint-Laurent-les-Bains spa resort is just 5 km away, reached by a charming country road.



Located in the heart of the preserved Monts d'Ardèche Regional Park, this is the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. Hiking, mountain biking, and nature lovers will find a variety of unspoiled trails and sites to explore. Paths start directly from the cottage, leading through moorlands and forests to the river or the nearby Notre-Dame des Neiges Abbey.



Arriving by train? The nearest station is La Bastide-Puylaurent, 20 minutes away. Lakes, picturesque villages, outdoor activities, inns, restaurants, markets, and shops are all within easy reach.



The cottage, renovated with eco-friendly materials in a former stone farmhouse, stays pleasantly cool in summer. It features a living room with lounge area and fitted kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed (160 cm), a low mezzanine with two single beds (accessed by steep stairs, not recommended for young children or guests with reduced mobility), and a bathroom with walk-in shower and WC.



Enjoy a private terrace and access to a garden area. A shared laundry room with washing machine and dryer is available. Parking is at the entrance on the hamlet square. There is a shared locked garage for motorbikes and a bike shelter.



A second cottage can be rented for family or group stays (up to 8 guests), with a large independent room and fully equipped kitchen.
