What a Gem. It’s off the beaten path and we absolutely loved that! We spent hours wandering around the trails with the dogs. Cabin was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to grill out and make breakfast. The ac was extra cold after a long day outside in the 90’s. Swan Creek was a blast to adventure in. All in all we enjoyed this trip and the cabin and surrounding area’s are amazing. Please keep this a secret, it truly is a hidden gem.

What an amazing house and host! Our stay was unbelievably amazing. We can't wait to stay again and highly recommend Krissy's property to anyone else looking for this type of getaway.

From the moment you walk in, it’s very clean. Host was easy to contact and provided some household items that were great for the trip. We wish we would’ve booked for a little bit longer, but enjoyed our time while we were there.

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful time here.This place is so beautiful and so so peaceful. We all agreed to definitely make plans to come back for a longer stay next time.

Peace and quiet.

Was such a peaceful place to stay. Some great hiking right on the property. Ben was a great tour guide and let us know where to go hike. Was a nice touch to have a few groceries already there like milk, bread, eggs, and s’more supplies.

Relaxing Cabin away from it all

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. While in the area for a wedding we had 2 families staying in the home and everyone had a great time. The house was very prepared for guests and had every convienance we needed.

We had the best time. There is so much charm throughout this house. It was peaceful and cozy. Ben treated us like family with his kindness and generosity. Our kids loved playing in the creek and admired all the rocks. Thank you for allowing us to stay at this truly unique and timeless home.

Wonderful Vacation

My family and I spent a week at this beautiful cabin. We had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the creek. We are definitely looking forward to another stay at this beautiful cabin!!

Excellent stay!

Quiet, comfortable with lots of amenities. Hostess had everything well stocked and property was very clean. Our family had a great time exploring the creek and surrounding wooded areas. Being close to Springfield and Branson was also a bonus!

Cozy Little Cottage

We had a wonderful experience at this cozy little cabin in the woods. Krissy provided everything we needed and more. If we get the chance we will definitely come back.

The most wonderful spot!

I can’t say enough great things about the cabin and the host! My kids and I loved the adventure of driving through the little creek to get to the cabin. It was clean, cozy, had everything you could want in a get away! Plenty of hiking and exploring nearby. I hope to be back sooner rather than later!

The home is an amazing home! Decorated very well. But overall our favorite experiences at this home was our interactions with Ben. He’s the sweetest man! And took my husband down to the pond to show him where to fish and boy he was right there were TONS of fish in the pond. This was one of our favorite stays! 8 nights was not long enough.

We’re ready to go back!

The cabin was perfect! It had everything we needed and lots of things we didn’t know we needed, but we used. It is a short hike across the property into Mark Twain national forest, and a great bouldering spot at turtlehead rock. The beds were super comfortable, and the setting was beautiful and peaceful. The location, accommodations, thoughtful details, and friendliness and accessibility of the hosts made the stay amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

Heaven on Earth!!

I really struggled with giving this place 5 stars…only because if people realize how much of a gem this location is, it will be completely booked and we definitely plan on coming back!! Ben was so helpful and just a pure delight. We honestly can’t wait to come back!! 10 out 10 highly recommend!!

Amazing unit. One of the best I have ever seen. Too bad I only stayed the night and left early the next day. A little hard to find, so be sure to arrive when it's still light outThe only thing is a VRBO problem. VRBO needs to streamline the check in process. The majority of the time I don't get the check in instructions and I have to call the owner to help me out. Thankfully, the host left the front door open for me. When I arrived, there was no cell reception

Great getaway

Very remote, if you’re looking for peace and nature this is the place. Host were more than considerate by leaving bare essentials food and snacks for the family. Ive never had that anywhere else. They were easy to contact and replied almost instantly everytime. The lodge has a great setup and just so remote nobody wanted to leave. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Will be staying again if im in the area. Very highly recommend.

My adult son and I needed a well-deserved break. We brought our three well-behaved pups. Plenty of space to stretch, sniff, walk, run and so much fun to swim in Swan Creek just a short walk from the beautifully furnished cabin with every amenity possible, plus the fixings for breakfast and smores. Firepit was awesome. Gas grill was great. Only downside was well-water -- bring bottled water. No cell service (AT&T) but had internet access via WiFi provided. Krissy and Ben were wonderful and so friendly and accommodating. Sitting and relaxing on the front porch, listening to the birds and bees was so refreshing. WE SO VERY MUCH ENJOYED THE QUIET AND BEAUTY OF THE CABIN, THE AMENITIES AND PROPERTY. Looking forward to returning next year.

Will stay here again!

We recently stayed here after Christmas and unfortunately, had to return home 9 hours away after only one night because of an emergency with our daughter. They were very understanding and refunded most of our money. The place was so amazing and there were lots of little extras like milk, eggs, bread, sandwich supplies in the refrigerator and fresh baked molasses cookies. Was very glad that we brought my husband’s four-wheel-drive truck because of the road into the property. We have rescheduled to go back in the spring. I can’t wait to go back!

Comfy Remote cabin stay

This was a great place for us to stay while riding the Chadwicks trails. The internet was spotty so if this is a working vacation dont bet on it. The cabin was very well accomaditing with all the little things you would probably forget to bring. It was very clean and orderly. The ac worked well and we stayed comfortably in 100 degree weather. There is also a very nice dog that visits we named him Felipe. He doesnt bite just wants pets and scraps. Overall highly recommend
