Villa's in Rupert

'Stanford House was listed on Expedia as 9.0 Wonderful. I disagree. I saw photos that had rooms with white bed covers. I didn't expect something so different on a busy weekend in Manchester. However, even though the room was clean and seemed more recently painted, it was disappointing. I am not a dog owner, and the bed covers with large dog designs were shocking. There was no in- room coffee pot, no cups. There were many wires for TV, microwave ( very mini, less than a college microwave) mini...

'Mary who greeted us on arrival was very friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful with walking suggestions. Wished we had stayed longer.'

'Fijn hotel, prima bedden en een heerlijke omgeving!'

'Very clean and efficient. The views out the windows are beautiful and private. The owner was very personable and there are a few local items you can buy (honey, truffles) including gift soaps that they make.'

'Thought the accommodations were wonderful… felt more like your home /bedroom than typical hotel decor. Cute breakfast room with to order breakfast . Lovely hosts who are extremely welcoming and accommodating. Will definitely be returning when we come to the Manchester area.'

'Good'

'Goedkope accommodatie slecht onderhouden en her rook erg muf.'

'Inrichting was mooi, maar weinig extra faciliteiten'

'Very unique house with lovely furnishings. Owners were very helpful and breakfast was delicious.'

'De eigenaren waren heel vriendelijk. De stijl en de sfeer die er hangt zijn zeer aangenaam en brengt je echt terug in de tijd wat heel leuk is bij een kort verblijf'

'If you are looking for a somewhat inexpensive place to stay then this is your place. It feels somewhat like a college dorm. There are no elevators and for the 3 days we were there only once did anyone say good morning or acknowledge anyone entering or leaving.'
