Winery Stay Experience: Sunday River Area Farmhouse Winery & Wood-fired Grill

Private Winery, BBQ, Concert Experience in the Mountains of Maine by Sunday River Skiway. Rental includes a private paradise complete with access to licensed winery, outdoor bbq restaurant, 6 bedroom farmhouse, 8 person outdoor jacuzzi. All fully staffed. Wine making and wood-fired bbq classes option. Everything is included. Leave the cooking , serving and cleanup to us. Great experience for any occasion, but great for birthdays; anniversaries, reunions, weddings, graduations and celebrations. We will also cater to your group’s specific interests, as in, set up wine/beer floats down the river in the summer, hiking trips, two snowmobile trips, bonfire, and live music (depending on whether it’s too cold for musicians to play outdoors). We have about 20 pairs of ice skates on the porch. We can shovel off the pond if you want to skate or play hockey. Just inquire- ask us whatever you would love to get out of your experience and we will do our best to make it happen and include it in the price!

A skiers and hikers oasis! This is a farmhouse located on US Route 2 a mere ten minutes away from Sunday River Ski Resort, Grafton Notch State Park, the Appalachian Trail, amazing smaller hikes, Gould Academy and the quaint town of Bethel. Bethel features multiple fine and casual dining options, a movie theatre, groceries, and a water park. The house: 1840's Historic Greek Revival Farmhouse-Original Features-5 Bedrooms,3.5 Baths. There is an apartment, and then two cottages available in the summer. If any of the rooms are not booked, the whole property is available for large groups. There is a pond and plenty of space for a wedding in the backyard. There are also hiking trails that traverse the mountain ridge in the backyard with amazing views of the river valley and Sunday River.

Two bedrooms connect via a closet to form a potential suite. One of those two rooms has a half-bath, and the full bath is out in the hallway. The room on the third floor features a king bed, a full bed and couch. The other bedroom on the second floor features a queen bed, bunk beds and a day bed. The last bedroom is a full on the first floor. First floor features include a full kitchen, living room and wood stove. Plenty of parking is available with overflow at my church across the street. On the other side of Route 2 is the Androscoggin River, which is amazing for canoeing, boating, and tubing. Tubes are available and the boat launch is only a mile or so up river. A potato farm is across the street and snowmobile trails are accessible from the property.
