'Adequaat hotel zonder luxe. Prima voor overnachting, maar niets extra’s. Hotel bied parkeergelegenheid aan die er eigenlijk niet is. Eigen parkeerplaats is te klein en parkeerplaats tegenover is maximaal 2 uur parkeren overdag en over het algemeen ook vol.'

'De kamer was zeer matig schoongemaakt, viezigheid in de gordijnen wat op bloed leek, badkamer slecht schoongemaakt. Drankjes overdreven duur. Biertje en een wijntje voor 11 pond. Ontbijt daarentegen uitgebreid. Vriendelijk personeel.'

The carpets and curtains have seen better days, but everything was properly clean, ignoring permanent stains/damage to the carpet etc. The walls are thin so you're at the mercy of your neighbours when it comes to noise. The included breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly.'

'Really awful reception into the hotel. Very dirty entrance area. Staff were okay once we started talking but initially not nice at all. Such a basic hotel. Carpeted room!?- why? And of course stained! No shower gel just an empty bottle. We regretted getting a room here the moment we pulled up to the hotel.'

'Contracted property earlier in the afternoon to request a early check-in as weather was bad, left a message but no-one got back to me. Eventually braved the rain and went to the property, no reply when I rang the bell. Looked on-line for possible other contact number to see that the property was closed. As the town was busy that weekend there was no affordable places for me and my daughter to stay so the only option we had was to head to train station and buy tickets to return to Newcastle. This...

'We had an amazing stay, gorgeous shepherds huts in a lovely location. So nice to have the pub nearby! We stayed during the heatwave and our hut was particularly hot, the staff were so nice to prepare another more shaded hut for us for our second night, we really appreciated the gesture! Highly recommend!'

'The only real problem is that they want payment from a card for everything, meals, a coffee etc. As a foreign country traveller, you pay a premium exchange rate and fees on every transaction.'
