« Surprise dog fee when we got there, we prepaid on Expedia which didn't include their dog fee. For the price we could have stayed somewhere much nicer. We had ants in the room the whole time, they tried to eat the empty dog food bowls. The hair dryer didn't work at all. The pool was out if commission as the whole place was under renovation. The bed was very firm, hard. The place will likely be better after renovation but until then spend your hard earned money and time elsewhere »

« This is an adorable B&B and the proprietors were so kind. My flight was horribly delayed (and stressful as I almost didn't find a way to even get to Cheboygan to pick my son up from camp) and I didn't end up arriving until 3:00 in the morning. I was texting with Ann and sure enough she was sitting on their back porch waiting for me when I arrived. I slept through breakfast and she had saved some for me that she reheated when I was up. « Everything was good; it’s just the extreme amount of mosquitoes in and around our rooms were a turn off. Had severe rashes on my toddlers body and face and our arms, the property needs to do something about the mosquitoes infestation. »

« The floors were so dirty that they ruined 2 pairs of new white socks. The 2 small trash cans were filled in one day. »

« There NOT all cabins some are a motel room. Not enough electric outlets. The shower has no lights in it and no racks or shelf’s in the shower. The room was musty smelling and the carpet was nasty . It really needs a remodel. The pool and hot tub had a lot of sand on the bottom. But the weather was great. »

« Terrible experience. This is my first public comment over 30 years of travel. Extremely noisy elevator bell located right in front of the room (which is not mentionned upon booking). Rambling noise starting a 4:30 am probably due to washing machines. I do not bother commenting on the rest. A hotel which does not guarantee proper resting should not exist. Avoid at all cost. »

« The property could use some updating in the rooms. The bathroom was extremely small with a very old shower stall. Could have been a little cleaner. Hardly enough room to turn around in bathroom. The beds were nice. The view from the room was beautiful. There was an old upholstered chair in the room that looked quite dirty. Very accommodating for a last minute reservation. »
