The hotel appears generally deteriorated, out of step with the promotional images available on the Internet. I was somewhat disappointed with the general condition of the building, the room and the bathroom.
What particularly disappointed me was the lack of soundproofing. Noises from slamming doors, conversations in the hallway, as well as from neighbors next door and above, were a constant annoyance throughout my stay. I happened to be woken up by noisy comings and goings in the middle of the night.
The shower stall was too narrow for me, making it difficult to raise my arms, and it was impossible to lean over. Additionally, the water pressure was low, and the clunky shower head had difficulty staying in place on its wall bracket.
The hotel seems to be making efforts in terms of eco-responsibility by not using single-use cups (paper or plastic), however, the room was not heated at all in February. Even though I am not sensitive to the cold, I had never experienced such a cold hotel room in winter.
As for service, the staff was generally courteous and helpful. I met several who were very satisfactory and professional, but some seemed unconcerned with supporting customers and acted a little impersonally.
