'Good location for a night, easy to be able to have dinner, breakfast was cold (toast) and the coffee tasted soapy, enough parking available, the room was not really clean (dust, walls broken, mold) it is a bit dated and the average age is over 60. The location is very good. The music entertainment (Mikey T.) was not really our taste, however he did his best. There was no warm welcome from the receptionist, she was a bit snappy.'

'All the staff were so helpful and polite .we stayed in a junior suite which was very comfortable and spacious with a super king bed. Breakfast was sumptuous and plentiful, we dined in for dinner which @ £45 per head for 3 courses was delicious and well worth it '

'Room's were clean, good breakfast, ideal for walking .View's were stunning. Staff were friendly. Not many car parking space but the car park was about 2 mins away. Overall a good place to stay'

'Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.'
