'We arrived to a lovely friendly greeting from Suruchi, we were given a walk around of the property, offered information on things to do and places to go. We chose this as a central location that was dog friendly for the three of us to stay. Nice location, nice property and the room was clean and tidy. Would definitely use this property again on another stay in the lakes. Thank you for making our 4 night stay so memorable.'

'Staff very welcoming. Food really nice and very filling. Perfect stay for us. Thankyou'

'Excellent dog-friendly hotel with superb personnel who connect with the guests. Great location in borrowdale.'

'Very nice guesthouse. No parking so we had to look for a parking place in the streets..'

'De ligging was uniek en zeer gemakkelijk om van daaruit diverse interessante plaatsen te bereiken.'

'Host was very friendly and helpful. He even packed a cakes for us when we checked out. Thanks.'

'The Inn itself is lovely and great location, however there was no heating or hot water, and we checked in after getting caught in the rain on a long walk on a cold day so were really looking forward to a hot shower! There was no communication from staff about this, and no apology in the morning. Unfortunately this ruined what I’m sure would have otherwise been a lovely stay.'

'Bit dated'

'The room was small but very well maintained and clean. The breakfast you could not fault, although you had to give your choice on the night before which personally not in favour of. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and efficient. The situation in the middle of the village ideal and parking on site, excellent. No dogs allowed on site which I am in favour of.'

'Did exactly what it needed to do. Free parking for the van within walking distance. Lovely food and great staff.'

'Lovely bed and breakfast in Keswick; close to restaurants. Parking is difficult on weekends.'

'Mooie omgeving en daarna heerlijk gezwommen in mooi zwembad met stoombad.'
