Het hotel is een monumentaal pand. Rustig gelegen wat prettig is voor je nachtrust maar als je erop uit wilt heb je vervoer nodig. Prachtig uitzicht over de vallei. Frascati is levendig, veel jeugd, allerlei restaurants en goeie ijssalons. De standaard kamer in het hotel is zeer eenvoudig en zonder airco. Wij hadden gelukkig een luxere kamer geboekt met airco. Douchen in het bad, complete maar kleine badkamer en je ziet en voelt aan alles dat je in een oud pand verblijft. Goed geslapen vanwege de rust in en om het hotel. Minpunt voor ons was de ontvangst. We kregen een down grade omdat er geen luxe kamer beschikbaar zou zijn. Dit accepteerde wij niet en kostte veel discussie met de receptionist. Uiteindelijk kon er toch iets geregeld worden waar wij tevreden mee waren. Hartelijkheid vanuit de desk was er tijdens de rest van ons verblijf niet. Wij verbleven 6 dagen en hebben Rome bezocht met de trein vanuit Frascati. Dat gaat uitstekend. Bij het station kan je voor 5 euro een dag parkeren. Binnen een half uur sta je in 💚 Rome.

Het hotel is zeer mooi gelegen en het is zeker een indrukwekkend gebouw. Maar alles is erg stijfjes ook het personeel.Niet echt geschikt voor de jongere gast en zeker niet voor kleine kinderen.

Ideale plek voor schrijvers en artiestieke zielen!
Wat een mooie plek zeg! Fantasich uitzicht over Rome, prachtige baroc kamers en gangen en een heerlijke spa met professionele massage therapeuten. Het eten is 'out of this world' en voor een goede prijs ook nog. Het ontbijt is ok maar je kan heerlijke koffie erbij vragen die dan speciaal voor u word gemaakt. Het is een mega aanrader voor een romantisch rijsje naar Rome. Frascati is maar 30 min. met de trein maar let op dat de laatste trein terug van Rome naar Frascati om 22:00 uur is. Je kan altijd mog een taxi nemen masr dat gaat u wel rond de €50,- euro kosten. Het is een ideale plek om er te rusten en heel inspirerend voor artiesten of artistieke zielen.

Wonderful located on top of a hill overlooking Frascati. Hotel has a nice classical garden. Due to its location can the service of your mobile phone be affected. The Wifi of the hotel has limited speed.

Beautiful outstanding place a good drive out of Rome but if you’re wanting quiet, actual Italian culture being an American felt safe very cozy little town however, the hotel did not have Wi-Fi only in the lobby. Lobby was absolutely breathtaking as well as the grounds and the view from our second story window would stay here again if I did not need to purchase Wi-Fi.

What a fabulous hotel with a long history. A great way to end our stay in Italy. A hotel with ambience and character. Dinner was great. We had a car, so getting there was no problem. Would gladly stay again

Villa hotell med väldigt stor potential som har mycket övrigt att önska. Hopplöst med transport, bar som till största delen är obemannad, resturang som är väldigt ojämn. Många frustrationer. Receptionen försöker, städningen bra och helt ok frukost

the place deserves a lot of TLC and good management. it has a lot of potentials. it is top of hill which very few people would like to hike it on their holidays, especially in the dark. they need a regular hourly van to take people up and down the hill. positive side, amazing landscape and view over looking the greater Rome. Frascati can be considered a hiden gem for food lovers. tens of great restaurants, authentic, great service even better food, very friendly people. by the way, you WILL NOT have WIFI in your room. only on the common spaces. I had a great time there despite all that.

Struttura meravigliosa , villa del 500 curata in tutti i dettagli . Personale attento e cortese . Colazione abbondante e varia. super consigliata per trascorrere delle giornate in totale relax . ma se vuoi andare a Roma , è molto vicina anche alla metro Anagnina . The hotel was good but getting to the hotel was difficult as there was no public transportation. Sometimes after 10 pm no taxis come and we need to walk.

La struttura consiste in una villa del 1568 ristrutturata in modo meraviglioso. L'hotel è sulla cima di un colle da cui si domina Frascati e Roma. Le stanze sono arredate con gusto retrò in linea con il resto della struttura, letti comodi, bagno ampio e pulito, vista mozzafiato. non è possibile chiedere di meglio

Villa Tuscolana is a gem perched on a hill in Frascati. A welcomed refresh from the bustle of Roma. The Villa is beautiful and elegant. The staff, especially Stefano, were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was very nice and the wait staff was lovely. The accommodations were very nice and so happy to have air conditioning. Beautiful location, exquisite Villa ! Location is a fun walk down the hill into town and would suggest a taxi to walk up (I walked up twice and was very nice exercise but not for everyone)! Thank you Villa Tuscolana

Villa Tuscolana was great. Beautiful building and grounds in a great location outside of Frascati. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Simona gave us great recommendations for a day trip and restaurants nearby. Only downside is WIFI only works in the lobby and common areas.

Séjour de 3 nuits dans cette hôtel qui est un ancien Palais visiblement. Les amateurs d'art seront ravis. La chambre était confortable avec une vue magnifique depuis le 4e étage. Lit confortable. Calme absolu de quoi dans l'hôtel. Le parc est magnifique mais mérite d'être entretenu. La salle de bain est classique, deçu toutefois de l'absence de distributeur de savon, gel douche, shampoo. Il y des savons d'hôtel bas de gamme et deux mini flacon de shampoo. Le restaurant est bien, les plats sont délicieux et le cadre magnifique. La piscine est petite et je n'ai vu personne s'y baigner. Le personnel est serviable et au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet copieux Rapport qualité/prix très intéressant. Voiture conseillée pour y aller.

Too grand to care.
This is a hotel that majors on its building but isn’t interested in its guests. It exploits its distance from Frascati in its prices. It was difficult to sleep because of the noise created by successive departures of gusts obviously being driven to the airport. No drink making facilities are provided in the rooms or elsewhere. The hairdryer in our bathroom lit up red inside and then stopped working. The management wasn’t interested when I reported this.

O Hotel em termos de instalação física muito boa mas a sua localização exige que o hotel ofereça aos seus clientes um meio de transporte para apanhar o hóspede da estação de trem em frascati pois não existe meio de transporte , táxi é raro na cidade de Frascati e quando aparece e depois de uma hora de espera. O hotel fica num monte íngreme, de difícil acesso a pé e toda vez para sair e voltar temos que pegar um táxi que custa 15 euro ou seja 30 euros cada vez que se quer sair até a estação de trem de Frascati para ir a Roma e voltar. Se pegar táxi até Roma custa 140 euro ida e volta e se vc ficar indo de trem , fica dependendo do horário do mesmo o qual deixa Roma no mais tardar às 21 h. Ou seja tem que se contar com um custo a mais por dia para se chegar até Roma. Frascati é uma cidade edificado em uma colina com vários níveis de localização de construções. Assim a mobilidade nossa foi péssima . Jamais voltaria a me hospedar pois o hotel não ajuda com o transporte /translado entre a estação de trem em Frascati e o hotel . Depois temos que contar com 140 euros por dia se usarmos o táxi .

This is such a beautiful property ontop of a hill that overlooks all of Frascati. It's a quick train ride to Rome. Only thing is I would not suggest coming here if you don't have a car or are not fond of walking. The walk from the train station to the property is ~1.5KM up a pretty steep hill. It was fine for my wife and I to walk up and down every night but I won't recommend doing that with luggage. If you need a trip from the hotel to the train station with your luggage, consider booking the taxi the night before because the services there are limited.

LOVELY BUILDING AND SETTING, BUT BEWARE
THE GOOD: Beautiful building, fairly well-maintained with just a touch of deferred maintenance, which is to be expected with a property this old. Lovely setting. Very good breakfast buffet. It is the kind of place Americans dream about when they think "country Italian villa." THE BAD: Hotel caters to a lot of bus tours, and they overwhelm the place in the early morning and late in the day when the busses arrive. The situation is made worse by the fact that noises echo through the building, so the ruckus is shared with everyone in the villa. Very intrusive. Also, I think the staff and management is so dependent on the groups, if you are a single guest with a single problem, they really don't give you much attention. I was there 4 nights and they still weren't sure who I was by the time I left. THE UGLY: They really need a shuttle to and from Frascati. Don't come here if you don't have your own transportation, or are not willing to walk the 20 minute steep climb from Frascati. Getting a cab is very difficult. I waited 3 hours to get a cab from Frascati to the villa, and no one cared. One company even hung up on me because the guy was annoyed that I called three times over the course of three hours. If ever there was a city that needs Uber, it's Rome. Transportation in general is a nightmare there, but getting to and from the villa is the worst.

Palazzo storico molto bello e immerso in un enorme parco. La piscina è piccolissima e la colazione deludente. Il personale alla reception è molto gentile e disponibile infatti ci hanno risolto un problema serissimo. La camera che ci era stata assegnata era angusta, senz'aria condizionata, senza wifi, ci è stato detto che avevamo pagato poco ma poi dietro nostra insistenza ci hanno dato una camera più decente

Villa Tuscolana er blevet vores sted: Fantastisk sted med udsigt ud over Rom. Det er gammelt, meget smukt restaureret og med enormt meget miljø - man kan næsten mærke fortiden i de gamle tykke mure. Super personale - meget hjælpsomme, meget smilende og man slapper bare af i denne rolige atmosfære. Restauranten byder på a la carte samt en 3-retters menu for hotellets gæster, der absolut kan anbefales til en meget billig penge. Shuttle tilbydes til Frascati by hvis man ikke ønsker at gå turen ned af bjerget. Spa afdelingen i kælderen med mulighed for Extra selvforkælelse er så absolut også et besøg værd.

La struttura è meravigliosa: un'antica villa immersa nel verde poco fuori Frascati sulla strada per Monte Porzio Catone. La vista che si gode è impareggiabile. Consiglio di scegliere le camere che hanno la vista su Roma. La piscina non è molto grande ma nonostante ciò è perfetta per rinfrescarsi nelle ore più calde. Ho apprezzato la stanza molto silenziosa che dava sul parco e il letto comodo. Avrei preferito avere un kit cortesia con ciabatte ma nel complesso pulizia e comfort sono stati apprezzabili. Nota dolente la colazione piuttosto povera con bevande da prendere alla macchinetta che talvolta creava file, qualità dei prodotti presenti, nessun tipo di dolce fatto. In casa ma molta roba confezionata. Basterebbe poco per rendere la colazione allo stesso livello della struttura. Peccato!! Nel complesso il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole e ci ritornerei.
