Romantisch hotel
Enigste nadeel dat je afhankelijk bent van de shuttlebus, je kan ook met openbaar vervoer maar je kan bij het hotel en in de bus geen kaartje kopen. Lopen naar een ander dorpje kan wel maar levensgevaarlijk, geen trottoirs en auto,s rijden veel te hard.

Middeleeuwse boerderij op 20 km afstand van Rome.
Een kwalitatief goed resort in een wat door de recessie aangetaste groene heuvelachtige omgeving. Vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel. Goed restaurant en taveerne. Kamers niet al te groot, maar wel degelijk, functioneel en schoon. Sanitaire voorzieningen zeker acceptabel en goed verzorgd. Door het hotel wordt een shuttle geregeld van vliegveld naar hotel, maar ook de mogelijkheid om dagelijks naar Rome gebracht en gehaald te worden. Men wordt afgezet en opgehaald bij Vaticaanstad. Heel handig! Absoluut aanbevelenswaardig !!

Een oase van rust!
Een zeer prettige omgeving met een oase van rust. Een prachtig sfeer plaatje, we wilden eigenlijk het liefst bij hotel blijven, maar met de pendelbus was ook Rome goed te bezoeken.

Geweldig hotel als je rust wil na een hele dagRome
Mijn vriendin en ik zijn vier dagen in dit hotel geweest. Het hotel ligt wel buiten Rome maar met de shuttle service is dit goed te doen. Je word om half tien weggebracht (naar centrum) en om acht uur s avonds weer opgehaald. Als je heel Rome wilt zien is dit echt niet te lang! Het hotel is echt een plaatje en de kamers erg mooi. De douche was heerlijk, beter dan thuis! Het complex is erg rustig maar na een hele dag Rome is dit wel lekker. Ontbijt begrijpen ze alleen niet zo, brood is voor hun iets heel anders dan hier maar lunch en avondeten is erg goed. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk.

This is a charming property up in the hillside above Rome. A quiet place to stay close enough to drive into the city. The property is beautiful and would be great for an event like a wedding. They had a great breakfast with lots of options.

The property itself is nice. It's a cute experience but only one day maybe. We ended up checking out early. They advertise air conditioning however you cannot control it yourself and it is one unit for the entire property so they keep it warm and mostly off. It was too hot to sleep so we kept our windows open which then made it very noisy. They advertise black out curtains too and my room did not have those, the light hit our face all night. On top of that we woke up to construction right outside our room at 8am so we could not sleep. The restaurant at the top is good but the menu is limited.

When we arrived, we were received with a friendly reception and walked to our room for convenience. The grounds were beautiful, and the rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable, there was a mini fridge to keep our drinks cold and a blow dryer in the bathroom. The breakfast wasn’t very good with a variety of meats, cheeses, eggs, cereal, fruit with coffee and juices to drink. We were very impressed with the property!

The property was very beautiful. It had wildlife (saw a couple foxes, frogs, lizards and cats) and many areas to explore. The staff was very helpful and made every effort to make sure we had transportation (utilized the shuttle many times) when needed. Really enjoyed the extra effort by the staff.

Impossible de dormir Décevant
Difficile de dormir. Très très bien pour organiser un anniversaire ou autres. Les extérieurs sont extra, la chambre est très jolie. Mais une ventilation énormément bruyante passe dans la chambre et s'arrête à 1h30 du matin, très bruyant, impossible de dormir. Heureusement nous avions des boules quies. La VMC dans la sdb est elle aussi très bruyante. Nous entendions aussi les WC du voisin et leur discussion.. Nuit très fatiguante. L'accueil au petit déjeuner est platonique, aucun entrain de la serveuse. Pas de fourchette, de couteau et de sel !!?? Et pour conclure, le jardinier qui taille la haie a 10h00 du matin a côté de la terrasse du petit déjeuner... Heureusement l'accueil a la réception est agréable, ainsi que les extérieurs. Donc dommage de na pas revoir le bruit sinon ce serait exceptionnel

Nice place, bad service at the restaurant
Hotel is located in a secluded area, very quaint and beautiful landscape. Hotel room and bathroom was spacious, and beautifully revamped with a mediaval touch. They did not have a fridge, but had a safe and a closet space. Brakfast was good and not crowded. Service was great during the included breakfast, but service was terrible at the expensive dinner. We had dinner at the restaurant, the service was terrible. One of my friends ordered a plate of pasta, but he only mentionned to her that they were out of that type of pasta once dinner was served for the rest of our group. She then ordered another plate, and aksed him if there was any meat in that pasta, because she is a vegetarian. He said 'no carne'. When he brought her dish out, they had put bacon mixed into the gnocchis...She ordered another plate, but the server charged us for both plates, when he was in the wrong and we did not even touch the gnocchi plate which we returned. We can hear the server talking loud to the cook what had happened, when we returned the plate. The cook even came out of his kitchen to see who returned the plate. Also you can see the kitchen from the outside terrasse, the cook lit a cigarette inside the kitchen...

Our room had several issues. The AC unit was leaking water onto the floor and would create puddles. There was mold on one of the walls. The shower pan also leaked onto the bathroom floor. Breakfast is extremely limited, and the restaurant food was awful. I do not recommend this property.

Loved this place , it’s a relaxing and beautiful setting. It was actually much nice than I expected . Do be aware it’s a bit out of town. When I originally booked we had a car , we ended up not having one (long story but ended up very glad NOT to have one) They do have a shuttle that takes you to the metro stop but as we are a family of four and that added up we just took busses , which was fine but added some time and made it impossible to get downtown early to avoid the crowds - However - I think it was worth it ! Would absolutely stay here again ! Can’t beat what you get for the price , and best of all was all the delicious fresh fruit for breakfast !

Dont go, unless you are looking for a wedding in plastic/neon surroundings. No service, breakfast in a disco and noisy workers until late, just outside our room. A no go

This unique property was amazing! Close to Rome, yet had a country feel. We enjoyed seeing the busy sights of Rome during the day and returning to our peaceful room at night. Our room was gorgeous and fit all five of our family perfectly! We would definitely book again!
