'Ok, well because you only get one chance to make a first impression, I would say "Get you hall carpets cleaned!" I think it's been months since they have been cleaned. The reception area and the breakfast areas are very, very well taken care of so it bewilders me why they have left the carpets in the halls so filthy. Other then that the breakfast was very good and well maintained, the staff was very nice and accommodating. I feel it was a little too pricey for what you get so I would rate it a...

'If you want to stay at a rustic place, the Chameleon hotel is for you. The staff and owners were very accommodating.'

'On the outside it looks like the style of a older motel. Unlocked the door, both myself and the driver were amazed how wonderful it was inside. So clean and well taken care of. Double queen bed in a very large room. The usual fridge, TV coffee maker with the fixing. Bed was so comfortable, it was easy to fall asleep. The bathroom was tiny. Loved the shower, so relaxing. Was greeted by a very nice and welcoming couple. Would be great for the summer months too as the have a large cordoned off are...

'Will absolutely return! Great location, well appointed rooms, and a nice common area. The bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice, with heated floors and a towel warmer. We were unfortunately unable to use the hot tub due to maintenance, but the staff notified us ahead of our trip, and offered us a discount for our next stay. My only complaint was that the edge of the of the shower floor had a strange disoloration. We were not sure if it was a stain or just unclean. Other...

'Probably the smallest room that I have ever booked. Very little parking. Night clerk watched me circle the parking lot then watched as I Iparked in an odd place. Next morning front desk wants my car moved. Apparently there was more parking in the back. Not posted anywhere.'

'Not worth the money we had to pay.'

'The Hume has so much character. We added an extra day to our trip just to stay here. As an older hotel, smaller rooms and probably not as many plugs as a new hotel but absolutely love this place. We’ve stayed here several times and have never been disappointed.'

'The very delightful and helpful staff were a pleasure to deal with. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Hope to stay again.'

'Easy access to trails. Clean and useful apartment-/dorm-style room. Quiet at night (September). Staff were great too.'

'Well appointed room, comfortable bed, clean, good location, nice pub/restaurant'
