'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'

'This was a beautiful cozy place. So Lovely decorated. With little kitchenette amenities enough to fix simple breakfast/ lunch. A table to sit at. Nice clean modern bathroom. Nice entrance. Private. Close to hikes (25-30 minutes from LOJ trail head parking. It allowed me to bring my dog. It was perfect for what we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions. I’d stay again without hesitation. '
