'The location of this Quest is amazing. Very close to the beach and shops/restaurants/bars. The apartment is spacious, but very tired, and wasn't 100% clean. Also, the website says there is a shuttle bus to the airport, but it seems they stopped doing that after COVID, and forgot to update the website. The shower is annoying and could be upgraded. The bed is very comfy! '

'Lovely hotel. The room I stayed in was wonderful; spacious and spotless. I loved the style and feel of the room; as if I had my own apartment in the city. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I stayed longer than anticipated because I just didn't want to leave :) Steps away from St.Kilda's centre and a short walk to the beach and promenade. SkyBus stop to/from the airport right across the street. Highly recommended!'

'Very nice place for a good price! Close to the beach and shops and the tram to the city stops right in front of the hotel. Amazing and helpful staff. Beds are comfy and the rooms are equipped with a little kitchen wich is really convenient. There’s even an espresso machine! Totally recommend!'

'Handy location but the lighting in the apartment section indoor stairwell was not working and it was very dark and the outside stairs were a little risky for the wet weather we experienced. The door to our toilet didn't close properly and the sliding door to one of the rooms had a big enough gap which limited the privacy of those in that room.'

The people were friendly and sociable (aside from the host taking my phone off airplane mode when I asked for the wifi password; $20, kaching, for roaming!) but the home… hygiene was an issue from the kitchen to bathroom (bring your own toilet paper), the bedsheet was laid down, not big enough to be tucked, mosquitoes in the room all night, even a closed (?) door could not keep out the pot smell from the...

'The room was moldy. It was filthy with plaster dust. It was absolutely disgusting. Toilet paper stuffed in cracks to seal draughts. Mice droppings, cockroaches. '
