Personeel kwam wat onervaren over, soms wat verward. Mijn standaard kamer was niet meer beschikbaar, maar ze gaven me zonder problemen een upgrade. TV: ontvangst was wat moeizaam, er waren er 2 waarvan 1 zijn geest gaf na een tijdje. Heel mooi uitzicht (indien richting Riga) over rivier en stad, de moeite. Men moet de brug over om naar de stad te gaan, kan tevoet voor de ietwat sportieveren, maar er zijn heel veel trams of bussen die de oversteek doen op enkele minuten. Bar (hotel), deze was niet altijd bemand, ik heb het een keer opgegeven te wachten, net voor mijn vertrek was het ietwat zenuwslopend gezien mijn taxi er was maar niemand meer om mijn consumptie te betalen (is wel gelukt). Ontbijt heb ik niet genomen (ging liever in de stad), wel room-service die wel ok was.

Te duur voor te weinig
Dit hotel viel behoorlijk tegen. Het uitzicht over het water en Riga is mooi, maar dan houdt het wel op. De kamers zijn aan renovatie toe en ik had niet de voordeligste (124,- per nacht). De kamer was slecht ingedeeld en minimalistisch betreffende voorzieningen, er was oploskoffie, maar het flesje moest al weer betaald worden. De badkamer was krap en oud. Douchen doe je in een badje met douchegordijn, rondom tegeltjes uit de jaren 80 met vieze randjes. Er is een zwembad en zelfs een sauna. Het zwembad werd veelal gebruikt door publiek van buiten het hotel, water aerobics met harde muziek niet de plek waar ik wil zijn. Bij de kleedruimten en douches is nog een sauna. Het is er ouderwets en sfeerloos, het stelt gewoon niets voor en je wilt er niet zijn. De directe omgeving van het hotel is niet aantrekkelijk, geen restaurants, of uitgaansmogelijkheden. Daarvoor moet je echt naar het centrum van Riga gaan, wat niet verkeerd is. Het is wel een behoorlijk stuk lopen om "even" naar de stad te gaan. Mijn verblijf in dit hotel heb ik ook niet verlengt en ben naar een ander hotel gegaan.

Please be advised that at given point we are preparing an extensive, long-term renovation plan 2019 for our property to conform to internationally renowned Radisson Blu property standards. Locatie t.o.v. oude stad is prima. Hotel zelf is gedateerd. Kamer was slecht onderhouden. In de badkamer kwamen zowel tegels als de wasbak van de muur af. Verder hing er een geel plasticzakje om de rookmelder?

Large room with the best view, good bed, tons of pillows. Nice pool, great breakfast. Only so so many tourist busses, and they all leave the same time every day so there is a rush for Breakfast.

Heerlijk luxe hotel aan de rand van de stad. Mooi uitzicht op de rivier en de stad! Nette en ruime kamer met bad heeheerlijk. Daarnaast top faciliteiten zoals zwembad, sauna en gym. super fijn was het uitgebreide en luxe ontbijtbuffet top! Aanrader!

Ik heb hotel geboekt omwille van het aanwezige zwembad...ik wist niet dat het open was voor publiek...idem voor de gym..als ik deze info geweten had dan had ik zeker een hotel ergens in Old Town gekozen...er is een shutlle met taxi vouchers maar het vergt geduld alvorens ge die eindelijk krijgt...geen aanrader!

Syntes det var ærgeligt at man får et værelse som er 15-20 år gammelt. Nøgle af mine venner havde det samme værelse men bare 15 år nyere. Bruseren var bare et hul hvor andre værelser havde et rainfall shower

Unfortunately the rooms are assigned to the reservations by their details in which sometimes the room type might be chosen different than others. Sorry to hear that for further to not have these misundersandings please choose reserving junior suite room, it would be renovated room with the riverside view of the city.

Excellent value
Great option near the city centre in Riga. Staff members very friendly and helpful. Breakfast really excellent. It’s true that this is an older property, but this is reflected in the price, and everything is very clean.

Hyvä mutta ei super
Huone oli kiva ja reilun kokoinen mikä oli kiva yllätys. Pistorasioita oli yllättävän vähän ja olisi ollut toivottavaa että molempien yöpöytien yhteydessä olisi pistokkeet löytyneet. Maksoin näköalasta koska halusin että huone olisi mahdollisimman korkealla ja hyvällä näkymällä. Valitettavasti kumpikaan ei toteutunut ja se taisi jäädä harmittamaan yöpymisessä eniten.

Hienot puitteet, mutta pinnat kaipaisivat hieman päivitystä sisältä ja ulkoa. Ikkunoiden pesu antaisi myös paremman vaikutelman. Aamupalabuffet erinomainen. Palvelu hyvää. Hienot näkymät joen toiselle puolelle vanhaan kaupunkiin. Lyhyt kävelymatka sinne myös. Rauhallinen ja turvallisen oloinen hotelli.

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt: Die Junior-Suite war angenehm groß und gut möbliert. Das Bett war hervorragend und es standen verschiedene Kopfkissen zur Auswahl. Durch die grossen Fenster konnten wir einen phantastischen Blick auf die Altstadt und die Daugava genießen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Angebot des Frühstücksbüffets war sehr umfangreich und von guter Qualität. Es gab auch vegane Produkte. Die Haltestelle mehrerer Straßenbahnen und Busse war in geringer Entfernung gut zu Fuß erreichbar. An der Haltestelle befindet sich auch eine Fahrkartenverkaufsstelle und ein kleiner Supermarkt.

Henkilökunnan palvelu oli erinomaista. Aikaisempi lähtömme aamulla huomioitiin takeaway paketilla, missä oli maistuva aamiainen meille valmiina. Huoneiden ovet olivat alhaalta avoimet, joten täältä kuului käytävän äänet sisälle ja huoneesta äänet ulos. Kylpyhuoneessa oli useampia laattoja rikki, mistä tuli hieman "likainen" vaikutelma. Hotellissa ei ollut ilta aikana paikkaa, mistä saa ruokaa, joten jouduimme menemään joen toiselle puolelle ruokailemaan.

Hotel ist gut gelegen. In 5min ist man an den Haltestellen der Öffentlichen Nahverkehrsmittel von Riga. Die ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Frühstücks Frühstücksbuffet ist gut und ausreichend.

Was a great location overlooking the river and the old city, the hotel inside was clean and modern. The hotel staff was amazing, very friendly very engaging and very helpful. The downstairs bar area was fantastic. The bar staff were fun and lively. Would easily stay again.
