'A lovely unique hotel with delightful service. We were staying there during the blackout and the staff put together food and brought in to all the rooms along with candles and battery lamps. The staff worked so hard to make us comfortable and kept us updated on the power outage. Their kindness was very much appreciated. Would stay there again and again. '

'Leuk hotel in een oud huis. Erg comfortabel met fijn binnen zwembad en heerlijke ligstoelen in de tuin. Zeer goed ontbijt en goed restaurant. In dorp zelf niets te bekeven, Tomar ligt dichtbij en is zeker een bezoek waard. Wel storend dat wij bij een wat vroege aankomst een uur moesten wachtend voor we konden inchecken terwijl de kamer wel gereed was. We waren namelijk een van de weinige gasten op dat moment'

'This is a wonderful hotel. Check in is efficient and also fun. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and with comfortable beds. We also really enjoyed our breakfast experience with eggs cooked to order. We didn’t get a chance to try their restaurant. There are many funky touches through this property and I imagine would be a lot of fun for a young child to experience. 'Prachtig design hotel met heel ruime suites. Gehele complex is ruim opgezet. Kwaliteit van het ontbijt, mogelijke lunch is erg goed. Vriendelijk professioneel personeel. Voor het diner is er een Michelinster-restaurant. Mooi zwembad zowel buiten als binnen.'

'It’s always a pleasure to return to the Pestana Palace. There is always a warm welcome and the concierge and reception staff are excellent. It’s the beginning of the season so the waiting and room service staff aren’t 100% on top of things yet, but overall it’s still a lovely hotel. '
