Perched above one of Anglesey’s most beautiful beaches, this bold and beautiful family home is made for making memories. From sunrise fishermen to afternoon windsurfers, the ever-changing sea views from the house are endlessly captivating, and you can enjoy them from nearly every room.
Just a 5-minute stroll along the road brings you to the sand, while another short walk in the opposite direction takes you to the heart of the village with its shops, cafés and eateries. Gardd Nain is the kind of place you’ll want to return to year after year.
You’ll enter via the side door into a spacious hallway. Immediately on your right, there’s a generously sized utility room with a full-height fridge-freezer, washer, dryer, drying rail, double sink and storage cupboards. Opposite, a handy downstairs shower room and loo, along with a brilliant storage space for beach gear, games, or groceries.
Move through to the open-plan living, kitchen and dining area, cosy and colourful, with huge windows and sliding doors that frame that stunning seascape. The space is cleverly laid out with a huge breakfast bar, a gas hob and oven, with a microwave and a glass dining table for 8. It’s made for gathering, whether it’s for big breakfasts, BBQ prep or board games after dinner. The lounge area is all about comfort, big striped sofas, a large Smart TV for family films, and a soft, playful interior that feels just like home. Step through the sliding doors onto the patio and soak up the sea air; the sun rolls in from early afternoon and the views stretch out to the horizon.
Upstairs, you’ll find four lovingly styled bedrooms, each with its own name on the door and furnishings to match. Two of the rooms look out over the sea and rear garden, so you can wake up to soft morning light and the shifting tides below. The master bedroom features a king bed and an en-suite shower room for a little extra privacy. Another spacious king room offers plenty of floor space and calm, quiet comfort. The triple room, with its bunk and single bed, is ideal for siblings or cousins sharing stories late into the night. Lastly, a cheerful twin room provides a tucked-away retreat, bright, cosy, and peaceful.
The elevated lawn is wide, lush and great for garden games or a quiet read. There’s a washing line, wetsuit hanger, and a guest-accessible shed for bikes and beach gear. While the garden isn’t enclosed, it’s sweeping and spacious, with plenty of room for kids to run and play (with supervision). The driveway gate can be closed for children's safety. There is also a bottom gate leading to private land; guests are politely reminded that this land is private property and beach access is not permitted via this route.
This is a property that’s full of heart. You can feel the care and detail that’s gone into every corner, from the themed bedrooms to the thoughtful layout.
The Neighborhood:
Rhosneigr (said: ROSS-nigh-ger) is one of the most dog-friendly villages on Anglesey. It's a foodie haven, a watersports mecca, and somehow packs bars, restaurants, independent shops and golden beaches into one small stretch of coastline curving round the village. Whether you're a couple, a family three generations deep, or bringing a dog who's never seen so much sand, it works.
It's on the pricier side, but one visit shows why. Two stunning beaches wrap the village, Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan, the surf's some of the best on the Island, and the food punches well above its weight. Mornings belong to the water, with Funsport or Gecko Surf on the seafront covering surfing, kitesurfing and paddleboarding for all ages. Evenings bring cocktails, fresh food at the Blue Olive, or the Sandy Mount House or fish and chips from Scarletts on the high street, eaten on the beach or back at the house.
Getting Around:
Rhosneigr is best explored by car, with free parking available at the property and throughout the village. The nearest train station, just 5 minutes away at Ty Croes, connects you to Holyhead and Bangor
Other Things to Note:
An AHL Damage Waiver is included as standard with every booking. It’s there to protect the property and give you complete peace of mind, covering accidental damage up to £250, so that if something happens, it doesn’t cast a shadow over your stay.
Towels & Bedding: Linens and bath towels provided (please bring your own beach towels)
Did you know:
We offer booking extras to make your stay even better. Our Extended Stay Refresh* brings fresh linens, new towels, made beds and a quick bathroom reset. *Available on selected properties within our portfolio.
Don’t forget:
Booking with AHL gets you fabulous, unique discounts at eateries, attractions, and shops such as Rib Ride, Zip World, and Sandy Mount House to name a few.

Wonderful house, wonderful views
We stayed over Easter with family and loved this house with its wonderful views and location close to the beach and village.
It feels like a family home and is well furnished and decorated. It is well equipped for large family gatherings.
The views are stunning and the large private garden was super for the children.
It has become our new favourite house in Rhosneigr.

This house provides a wonderful holiday lifestyle
Wonderful location with seaview. Just unpack, relax and enjoy the lifestyle this house offers. Watch the tides coming and going, or watch the aircraft at RAF valley. Short walk to beach and town. Important to us to have space, views, garden, parking and this house offers it all.

Amazing Views
We enjoyed our stay at Gardd Nain. The house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
The views are amazing. We enjoyed watching the aircraft from RAF Valley.
Beds are comfy and the bedding and towels are high quality, as with all ALH properties.
We found the sofas a little uncomfortable.
The garden is great. There were plenty of rabbits in the garden, which drove our little dogs crazy.
We will hopefully return to Gardd Nain in the future.

Week stay October 25
Great weeks stay. Property is in a great location with views over the beach and can see planes at RAF Valley. Overall house is nice although some parts could be improved such as the sofas and handles on doors upstairs (got locked in main room few times and bathroom door doesn't shut) Windows and glass table were also not very clean when we arrived. The owners photos were left on display throughout the property which was a bit odd not had that in a holiday home before. Overall would stay again mainly for locations and views.

September Break
We booked Gardd Nain when it first became available to AHL at the introductory offer price and it was well worth it.
The property was well equipped with everything that was required
Modern furnishings with large rooms benefit the occupancy size this house can support (only 4 of us this time)
Uninterrupted views across the bay and towards the airfield.
The only glitch was,
A dressing table and mirror would compliment the main bedroom.
Would recommend for a large group.

WOW
What a beautiful place this is.
We’ve stayed at LOTS of properties in Rhosneigr but this one exceeds them by far.
The view is mesmerising, the house is beautiful and the beds are extremely comfortable.
When we arrived it was raining heavily but once we got in the property and dried it was instant relaxation. The huge comfy sofas, the ‘boot room’, the generously sized utility - with a very handy second fridge freezer (we had lots of wine to chill - don’t judge) - it just instantly felt like home.
The sunsets were beautiful too.
This place is a must.
The only things that could’ve improved it - some hooks in the bathrooms for bath towels etc and a cheese grater. Though these small things pale into insignificance really.
Thank you

A lovely property in a perfect location
We recently stayed here with our two dogs and, overall, had a lovely stay. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from the main town, making it easy to get around. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday.
There are a few things worth mentioning for future guests. The 5 pm check-in time felt quite late, especially after a day of travelling. If you’re bringing dogs, be aware that the garden isn’t fully secure. There’s a gate at the end of the garden that smaller dogs could easily get through, and during our stay, other dogs entered the garden on two occasions. The main entrance gate also has gaps that small dogs could squeeze through, which could be dangerous as it leads directly onto the main road.
The property is beginning to show signs of wear in places, with what looks like some previous water damage and general tiredness. However, this didn’t detract from our stay, and the house still provided everything we needed for an enjoyable holiday.
Overall, it’s a comfortable place to stay in a fantastic location, but dog owners with smaller pets should take extra care.
