Si vos vacances de rêve à Northwoods comprennent une maison immaculée, une promenade à niveau jusqu'à 300 pieds de façade, une énorme jetée privée, du sable ondulé sous vos orteils et un lac de loisirs calme et complet de 180 acres, alors envisagez de passer vos vacances sur le lac Tambling à Eagle Rivière. Le lac est privé; vous vivrez probablement des moments (ou des heures ou parfois des JOURS) où vous aurez le lac pour vous tout seul. Les pêcheurs ne seront pas déçus car le bar, le brochet et le panfish abondent! Faites griller le déjeuner et le dîner et savourez votre repas sur votre jetée privée. Peut-être apercevrez-vous un "dîner" d'aigle, de loutre ou de huard pendant que vous mangez! Après le déjeuner, prenez le kayak, le pédalo, le canoë ou la chaloupe fournis pour faire un tour. Un bateau ponton Bennington de 18 pieds est également disponible pour 500 $ / semaine plus le gaz. Une croisière au coucher du soleil sur le ponton est le moyen idéal pour terminer une journée amusante dans les Northwoods. Suivez votre croisière avec des smores autour du foyer. Dormez profondément, réveillez-vous et répétez !! Les familles et les amis apprécieront la possibilité de se débrancher et de se reconnecter. Regardez un film, jouez à un jeu de société, complétez un puzzle et détendez-vous, détendez-vous, détendez-vous! La célèbre chaîne de lacs d'Eagle River est à moins de 3 minutes en voiture. Les routes secondaires sont parfaites pour les balades à vélo, les VTT ou le jogging. Participez à des festivals locaux, à des marchés aux puces, à des marchés fermiers ou faites simplement des achats de souvenirs à Eagle River. Apportez vos serviettes de plage. Fantastic Getaway

We stayed up here for my brother's bachelor party and had such a fun and relaxing time. Gabe checked us in and was very welcoming and friendly. Pontoon was a fun addition to the weekend and the fishing was plentiful! Will definitely be looking to stay again soon!

It was very clean, accommodating, and a total fun experience! The hosts were so good to us , we felt like long lost friends. The lake water was clear and had beautiful sand. The pontoon was spotless and added great times with the family and fun fishing. The paddle boat peddled so easy us old folks made it around the lake! We thank them for a awesome week,

We had a great time. The lake is gorgeous, clear with a sandy bottom. Cottage was well appointed and decorated so cute. Sally and Joe were wonderful hosts, very generous and easy to communicate with.

Memorial Day weekend

The property was beautiful! The communication with property owners were wonderful. We enjoyed our weekend on the pontoon. This vacation was exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries!

Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin on a peaceful lake. The kids had a great time catching fish. We were able to enjoy using the pontoon, kayak and paddle boats. Wonderful hosts who take very good care of their property and guests!

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay......the location was quiet even on a busy holiday weekend, but was close to town. The cabin had a northwoods feel, was comfortable and met all our needs......the pier was a really nice surprise; nice stairs to the sandy bottom to cool off and for our daughter to play in. We also took advantage of the pontoon rental.....which worked out really well. Joe and Sally were great, and overall we had a really good stay!

A Delightful Getaway!

A spacious, well stocked, super clean home in the woods and on a quiet clear lake. We had a access to a pontoon, kayaks and paddle boat. This was a perfect relaxing week!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gabe's Getaway! Sally and Joe were awesome hosts, very responsive and gave us some great tips on the happenings for the week in the area and just overall very welcoming. The property was very well kept and clean. Everything was laid out very nicely and had lots of room for lawn games and stretching out. We really liked our daily visits from a doe and two fawns. Loved the pontoon boat for fishing and lake cruises, and the pier was great for enjoying sunsets or just enjoying the view. Hope to come back again!

Enjoyable Lake Experience

We had a wonderful time during our 2-week stay here. My sister and brother-in-law joined us for a few days and all of us especially enjoyed sitting at the table on the dock with our morning and evening beverages. Spent a lot of time on the lake fishing and relaxing. The pontoon boat was great! Sally & Joe were terrific hosts!

WONDERFUL HOME!

Gabe's Getaway is a a wonderful cabin. It is our 2nd time staying at the cabin and we really enjoyed it. The fishing is very good and the lake is so clear! Joe and Sally are great to work with and are incredibly nice people. We had fun fishing, cruising around the lake, and having several campfires. We will definitely return!

Paradise in the North Woods

Our week at Gabe’s Getaway was nothing short of fantastic. From the cabin to all of the amenities plus the fishing and the weather were nothing short of perfect. Family getaway

We stayed at Gabe’s Getaway with my parents, sister and her family. It was an awesome week of relaxation in the north woods. The cabin has all the amenities one needs for a week away. The hosts are so kind and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed the pontoon boat and cruising around the lake. Located conveniently close to downtown Eagle River. Would recommend!

There’s a reason this is a five star stay in the Northwoods. We rent a place every year, and my adult children expressed that overall this was the best property that we’ve ever stayed at thus far. Great hosts. Great fishing and an awesome dock set up for swimming and enjoying the water… eagles, loons, deer and a private lake with abundant bass and northern. A great Northwoods getaway! 5 ⭐️

Retreat Into Nature

We enjoyed the comfort and spaciousness of the cabin. The lake is peaceful and we really enjoyed sitting on the dock, having coffee in the morning and watching the sunsets in the evenings. The loons, ducks and eagles came by to greet us every day. We loved all of the trees on the property and were thrilled when the deer came. Fishing off the dock, using the paddle boat and kayak added to our enjoyment.

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

Sally and Joe went above and beyond with their hospitality, communication and friendliness. We left saying this was one of our favorite places we have ever visited. The house was extremly clean and equipped with everything you need. We also rented the pontoon boat at a very reasonable cost and had a great time fishing, swimming in the clean sand bottom lake and star gazing. We are couting down the days until we can visit again!

Tambling Lake Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the Tambling Lake cabin. It was so nice to get away and relax for a few days. The cellular (and tv antenna) reception was very spotty so it limited us to our electronics, which was what we needed anyway. Dinner and sunsets on the dock was wonderful. The pontoon rental was such a bonus! We took advantage of it and fished around the lake as much as we could.

Fantastic Stay!

We loved our stay at Gabe’s Getaway. Property is very clean and perfectly situated close to Eagle River but with plenty of peace and quiet. Owners are so accommodating and communicative. We would rent here again in a heartbeat. Lake is absolutely beautiful- it was too cold for swimming (October) but it’s perfect if you come in the summer. Sandy bottom, steps for easy access to the lake, plenty of water toys, and with the shallow water it’s perfect for families with kids.

Beautiful woodsy location

The property is so pretty, surrounded by trees, and the pier is the perfect place to watch the sun set over the lake. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking dinner, and the beds are very comfortable. Our only wish would have been to watch some television late-night, but there was absolutely no t.v. reception.

EAGLE RIVER CABIN

The cabin, property, pontoon boat, firepit and lake were great. We had a very nice stay. The only issue was the ATT service in the area. We had no service at the cabin, the hotspot did not work, the tv only had 5 channels and there was no wifi. If you have Verizon you will be OK. I definitely would return if they provided wifi.

Restful stay on Tambling in a marvelous cabin

We have stayed numerous times in various properties in and around Eagle River, WI. This cabin was the best maintained and decorated so far. The hosts were personable, informative and available (they live on the same lake). And we discovered the husbands had gone to the same college, Go DuHawks! We rented the pontoon boat and used it nearly daily, including just sitting and reading under the shade. We also used the canoe most days and the paddle boat once, everything in excellent condition. The cabin was spotless and everything functioned. The decor was comfortable and very 'Up North-ish'. The host and hostess are a class act. This is a great retreat for couples, families and anyone who wants to tune out the outside world for a while. We may be back!

What a fabulous stay at the cabin on Tambling Lake! It was exactly what we needed to wrap up summer—a wonderful balance of relaxation and adventure. Our days were filled with fishing (we lost count at 43 fish, including a 21.5" bass!), boating, paddle boating, a little swimming, and evenings around the campfire. We enjoyed plenty of delicious home-cooked meals—some in the cozy kitchen, others on the grill or over the fire—and we also loved venturing into town. The Nutty Squirrel, Chubby’s, and Toad in the Hole quickly became our favorite stops.One of the highlights was having our adult kids join us at different times during the week, and with extended family staying in a nearby cabin, we were able to spend wonderful days together on the water. It made the whole trip feel extra special.Sally and Joe went above and beyond as hosts—the cabin was spotless, welcoming, and felt like home from the moment we walked in. They offered thoughtful tips about local happenings and were quick to answer questions or lend a hand. We’ve stayed at a few other cabins over the years, but none compare to this one.The only thing we missed—but was mainly more of a “want”—was WiFi, since cell service was spotty and it was hard to get in touch with family that was staying nearby- In the end, though, that just added to the peaceful escape. We can’t thank you enough, Joe and Sally, for creating such a wonderful place. We will definitely be back!
