Geweldige ontbijt na slapen in te warme kamer.
Kleine kamer en zeer warm en slechts heel klein raampje om frisse lucht binnen te krijgen. Positief is het geweldige ontbijt, dat het vlak bij de stad ligt en hun parkeer garage.

Goed hotel met parkeermogelijkheid in eigen overdekte parking (beperkt aantal plaatsen). De kamer is wel niet groot, maar net goed voor een verblijf van 1-2 nachten.

Zeer net en verzorgd hotel met een prima ontbijt!
Erg mooi en goed hotel met zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, elke ochtend staat er weer een lekker ontbijt met veel keuze voor je klaar, de kamer zelf was netjes en schoon, wel een beetje donker, maar ik vond dat zelf juist wel een rustgevend gevoel geven. De ligging is ook perfect in het centrum, dit is een ideaal hotel voor een lekker weekendje in Reykjavik!

Prima verblijf in Skuggi 🙂
Hotel Skuggi ligt in het hartje van Reykjavik, dichtbij het centrale busstation en de winkelstraat Laugavegur. De kamers zien er prima verzorgd uit en het hotel ziet er nog heel fris en nieuw uit. Onze kamer was inclusief ontbijt, en dat was ook zeer netjes verzorgd, elke ochtend was er een ruime keuze aan fruit, vers brood en gebakken lekkernijen. Tijdens mijn volgende verblijf in Reykjavik boek ik zeker weer een kamer in hotel Skuggi.

Heerlijk ontbijt en fijne kamer!
Tijdens ons verblijf in het Skuggi hotel genoten we van een fijne kamer na aankomst op IJsland. Heerlijk ontbijt met veel variatie, echte verwennerij! Parkeergelegenheid was ook fijn maar even goed moeten zoeken vanwege de volle garage. Fijn om van hieruit te vertrekken naar onze volgende bestemming.

There was a rattling sound in the bathroom - thought it was the pipes, called reception and they came up to check asap. Was just the wind, they asked if I wanted to change rooms but it was fine.

Skuggi is located at the city, easy to move around. Attractions are nearby; shopping and dinning are all within walking distance. Room is clean and comfortable. Room is considered small for a couple with photography gears. I did asked for morning call but the call came a little later. Otherwise, a wonderful hotel at the city of Reykjavik.

I love the location of Skuggi Hotel which gave us easy access to the Harbor and Laudagavur St. for shopping. Everything is within walking distance- Bakery, good restaurants, grocery Shopping(Extra) and Bus stop 9. We can go around knowing we are safe even late at night after waiting for the Aurora by the harbor. Skuggi staff greets you warmly and always ready to assist. Breakfast is good, too.

One of our preferred hotels in Reykjavik Pros - parking, proximity to town and the waterfront, one of the better breakfasts in Iceland (vegetarian options - yes, vegan options - unsure), decently sized rooms with phrases on the wall that add a nice touch, atmosphere tends to be sophisticated and peaceful in lobby, cafes nearby, late check-out time Cons - Room floors were dust free but not dirt free, perhaps they need mopping? Windows definitely need cleaning from the outside more regularly they were completely soiled during our visit and ruined any view we had - including the sky!! Our room cards deactivated 5 mins BEFORE check-out whilst loading and unloading the car, then at EXACT checkout time the room phone rang to remind about checkout. We found this quite aggressive and excessive, and certainly added stress to our supposed-to-be holiday which was totally unnecessary.

This is a top notch hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room and the hotel was very clean! And the breakfast buffet is excellent We had to leave 2 days early due to illness but I know refund wasn’t possible :( I would recommend this place to anyone
