Great city center apartment by parliament square

The apartment is located next to the Icelandic parliament and parliament square in Reykjavik city center. iT is on the second floor in an apartment building above the sushi restaurant “Osushi Train”. You can get up in the apartment using the stairs or the elevator. The building has a free parking space in a secure underground parking facility.

The apartment is a two bedroom 89 square meters in size. The owners of the apartment live on the 4th floor in the same building. On arrival, you will meet the owners in person. They will give you the keys in person along with a bottle of sparkling wine. They will show you the accommodation and also walk with you around the neighborhood showing you best restaurants, bakeries, shops, grocery stores and etc. This service the owners do happily without charging you for it.

There are two good sized bedrooms. The first bedroom has two single beds, which can be put together to make a double, the second bedroom has a king size bed. Both bedrooms have nightstand with lamps that provide good reading light and a 32” TV which has many variety of channels.

The apartment is equipped with 1.5 bathrooms. Having an extra bathroom provides comfort and ease for traveling-groups during mornings and evenings when bathrooms are mostly occupied. The bigger bathroom has a washing machine and a dryer. Laundry detergent is provided.

The living room has a comfortable sofa that can be pulled out into sofa bed. This sofa bed can easily sleep two people. Across the sofa is a 42” TV with many variety of channels and the WiFi station. Owners will demonstrate how the TV and WiFi works on you arrival. The WiFi is FREE.

The kitchen is fully equipped and comfortable. The kitchen has a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, electric kettle and microwave. Dishwashing tablets are provided. All utensils are there to cook meals. From the kitchen you can step out on the balcony. The balcony are comfortable in size and has a table and chairs. From the balcony you can see the Parliament and the Parliament square.

It is a perfect base for every traveler who wishes to explore all that Reykjavik has to offer. All the main attractions, shops, restaurants, bars, galleries and museums are all within easy walking distance from the apartment. Also, close by is the city pond/park and harbor with the fantastic whale watching tours and view to the mountain “Esja”.
