This one story apartment (only 1 small step to enter) is in a great intown location. It's close to restaurants, churches, hospital, Amtrak Station, Joseph College (closed), Fair Oaks Dairy (6miles), Indiana Beach (30 miles), Indiana Dunes National Park (60 miles), Jasper Junction Flea Market and Thrift Store (6 miles).
The 2 bedroom (California King size bed and twin beds all are memory foam) is lovingly called "Nora" after my maternal grandmother. It has large kitchen with all utensils and cookware and coffee maker with free coffee. Refrigerator has ice maker and microwave comes with free popcorn. Gas range and dishwasher complete the kitchen. The ceramic bath has heated floor and is loaded with fluffy towels. The living room has large over stuffed chair, sofa and wingback chair and large "smart tv" and free wifi. Bring your Netflix and Amazon Prime passwords.The attached garage provides privacy and good shelter to protect hairdo and gowns.
I have just added a private patio with comfortable lounge chairs and bbq grill.
Perfect for visiting local friends and family. Great business headquarters either for a couple of days or a couple of months.
All of this at really fair price.

Worked well for us

Great shower-water pressure. Nice to have a garage. Blinds in kitchen are dirty. Comfortable king bed. Nice thick towels. We had our sound machine with us so it blocked out the loud street noises at night.

The house its self was great but very limited housewares in the kitchen for our use. It would have been nice to know that there is a busy road on the side of the house that was noisy. The owner showed up at the door at 9 a.m. the day before we were to check out to ask when we were leaving which i thought was very rude. There was no information about wifi and I never recieved a response to my email asking for that information.

A most pleasant weekend

Wonderful

Really enjoy staying at their propertys. Very nice, cozy and comfortable. Great hosts and very nice neighborhood. Go here 3-4 times a year and have rented mostly with them rather than hotel stay. Very convenient very close to my children & family as well as town food and stores!

Nice place

Nice place with good location. Only complaint is I don’t feel the place was cleaned well prior to my check in. Beds in spare bedroom were not made. There were some stains on sheets of master. Some dirt in the floor of the kitchen. There was a coffee in the microwave and a jar of mayonnaise on the counter. Also would recommend the house purchase more kitchen things…. Pots pans knives large bowls. Was lacking that. Corner cabinet beside dish washer was also broken.

Rensselaer stay

Perfectly adequate and clean place to stay. I would stay again. But it is a very noisy location on a busy corner so be advised to bring ear plugs for sleeping! Also the patio does not look pretty like the photo - it's on the busy street, full of weeds and some litter blown in. Several repairs on the interior have not been made recently but the manager assured me that the handy man was ill and those things would be fixed.

I enjoyed our last stay better then thus stay. There was not a family size grill for the back patio like last time. I believe the cleaning lady was in a rush. The washer and dryer had sheets in it so I wasn't able to use them. The bathroom walls where pretty dusty. Even in the shower. And the silverware was all in a coffee cup in the kitchen cabinet, we didn't find it till after we had already purchased plastic
