'Newer hotel, definitely not a 5 star hotel in room, service and breakfast quality. Bathroom smaller than one in Holiday Inn Express. Although rooms were paid in advance at arrival a relative high amount of bail was asked for and the small amount of tourist tax had to be paid directly and could not be put on the bill at check out. 'Beautiful hotel in a great and quite location of Kyoto. Upon arrival our forwarded luggage was waiting for us on our well appointed executive room, it was big enough for our family of three.Very comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and the most gorgeous view to the mountains. Walking distance to Gion and so many temples. Service at the hotel is top notch. And the shuttle bus to/from the station is a great addition. Could not have stayed in a better place than this. We will certainly recommend...
