'This property is great. 10 minutes from the KRO airport, free shuttle. food is very good , good bar and wonderful friendly staff. we got a free Swahili lesson and even took a cooking lesson with chefs in the kitchen. 'Het is prachtige omgeving midden in de natuur en met een fantastisch uitzicht op de berg Kilimanjaro. Prijverhouding per nacht versus de kwaliteit van de kamers vonden wij niet in verhouding staan. Echter kan ik deze accommodatie wel aanraden. Super vriendelijk personeel die enorm hard hun best doen om het jou zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Het bed is prima en zo ook het eten. 'Absolutely love this property and it was EXACTLY what i needed after a week long trek up Kilimanjaro. Very relaxing atmosphere with a health-vibe. Masseuse on premises made it very convenient. The food menu at restaurant was also very good. Location is very close to Moshi town (about 15min drive - though if you stay here, you really dont need to go into town - Moshi is very disappointing). Only con was the very spotty wifi. '

'The views of Mt Meru and the surrounding bush country were magnificent. The grounds include banana, papaya, mango, pineapple and avocado plants/trees, all of which enhance the experience. The staff were extremely attentive and polite. All speak English. We loved the food so much my wife wanted to bring the chef home (joking of course, but high praise). The income of the Honey Badger Lodge is beneficial to the education of local children in the community. This lodge can organize all kind of activities. 'Stay well clear. The manager tried to make out that he'd never heard of hotels.com and that thwy dont take card bookings online. I showed him my payment confirmation and he tried to intimadte me by saying I was a thief and needed to pay in cash. The room was terrible and falling apart.
