'This was a short walk from Ueno station so it was easy to get to our spot. This was our first stay after a 16 hour flight and it was such a calming room. I chose the Japanese style tatami room. In the morning we got up and walked around Ueno park before we had to check out. The area was lovely and full of great dining options. '

'Although the rooms are small they are luxurious and well equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful. Didn't use the Sauna since it is only for men and I didn't want my girlfriend to feel left behind. Wish it was for all genders but that is their policy and I respect that, it's not Europe. If I go back to Tokyo I would stay there again. '

'The location is excellent, just a quick four minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, and there’s a 7-Eleven right downstairs which makes everything super convenient. The room was clean and had all the essentials, but the building itself feels a little rundown, especially the elevator and hallways. The lighting throughout the hotel is also quite dark, which gives it a slightly older feel. The bed was firm, which is pretty common in Japan, but from a North American perspective it might feel hard...
