'The house is amazing. The view all aroud is so much more beautiful than captured in pictures. Great place right in the middle of wineyards and olivetrees. It was perfectly clean and has everything you need and many more. We have had awesome nights baking pizza and playing pool. The location of the villa is ideal nearby Florence and Lucca. The owners are very kind and help you wherever they can. The wine and olive oil they had for us tasted also very good. We would definitely recommend this...

'We had a wonderful time staying at Countryside Florence Villa. Pool was an absolute highlight during the heatwave Italy was experiencing at the beginning of our trip. Also being nestled in the hills outside of Florence meant it was 5C cooler at the house than down in the City. The property itself is large and well looked after with lots of character - huge fireplaces, old wooden ceiling beams and tiled floors. Modern amenities like AC, wifi and a large TV are supplied and were faultless during...

'It was absolutely marvelous. The owner of the property was so informative on places to visit, and places to eat etc. We had a wooden time and I would recommend that everyone stay here at least once in your lifetime.'

'We had the most amazing time at Il Poggio! The property is well maintained, Roberta and Marina were incredible, and the location could not be beat. We took day trips (by car) to Siena, Arezzo, Florence, Orvieto, and Montalcino, all of which were easily and quickly accessible. Each of our five guests (two couples, one single!) had their own floor and bathroom. We cooked in the well-stocked kitchen, drank wine while watching the sunrise on the patio, and were transported to the past walking...

'This place could not be in a better location. You would never know that you are practically down town Florence while staying in this little oasis. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained were you wake up to the deer, pheasant, and ducks with your morning coffee. The stairs to the second story bedroom can be treacherous so be cautious going up and down and the upstairs bathroom is quite small, however the bottom bathroom makes up for it! Now the spa underneath is a real treat! The water...

'Rustige mooie villa in klein dorpje boven op de berg. Steeds een kwartier met de auto naar beneden om te gaan winkelen. Mooi afgescheiden zwembad dat regelmatig onderhouden wordt. Barbecue en pizzaoven gegarandeerd plezier.'

'Our stay was amazing. The location was beautiful and easy for us to explore the surrounding area with ease. The house was beautiful, very clean and our host was most gracious. Upon arrival we had made a passing comment on how beautiful the patio terrace was and how a fire pit would be a nice touch so that we could enjoy it longer into the cool night. After the dinner our host organized for us at a local restaurant we returned to having a fire pit and wood on the patio. They went above and beyond...

'We had the chance to spend 9 nights at the Barn. This place is beautiful and you feel at home. You will have fun contemplating the landscape and the sunsets from the terrace. We are traveling with two young children and we had access to two bassinets and high chairs. The bath also very useful with young children. We recommend this place which is very strategically placed to discover many of the attractions of Tuscany. We recommend and can't wait to come back!'

'We hebben erg genoten in deze fantastische villa. Het was erg warm tijdens ons bezoek, het prive-zwembad was daarom erg prettig. Kamers zijn ruim en verzorgd. Airco hebben we daarom zeer gewaardeerd. Het is een mooie uitvalsbasis voor bezoeken aan Florence en Toscane. Dat goed met de auto, maar ook met de bus. Bus 23 levert je af in het centrum van Florence. Fijne ontvangst door Jannet en fijne contacten vooraf met Carla.'

The communication was very easy before the arrival and Dafina was very helpful giving us all information we needed to find restaurant and groceries. The gardens and pool are beautiful.
