'There was some confusion with my reservations online, and I was unable to contact a human being at the hotel to rectify the situation prior to check-in. Expedia made an attempt but was told they were unwilling to make any changes. 'All one seeks for a stay away---clean room and premises, friendly, helpful staff, varied and plentiful breakfast options. Although not in downtown central Carmel, the area was safe with a few good restaurants and a food store within walking distance. Gym and pool looked inviting--not used this visit as they were pretty crowded with teen athletes staying in area for competitions. Staff handled all smoothly.'

'The breakfast was very nice. I like a hot breakfast in the morning with different variations of food especially since I’m lactose intolerant. I don’t eat much but it was very nice that they had almond milk, and even hard boil eggs so I could have have eggs without cheese in them. 'A $100 cleaning fee seems steep for a dog one night in an uncarpeted room. Did it really cost you $100 to run a vacuum? Whereas we stayed at a Home 2 Suites the following night, and there was no pet fee at all. They got it right.'

'Great location when you are playing sports at grand Park! My only issue was the Breakfast ended way too early. When you have a bunch of kids playing sports, it would be better to extend your breakfast hours!'
