"Wij hadden de standaard kamer, de kamer was voldoende groot. Het hotel is erg proper en het personeel is vriendelijk. Enige mindere punt was dat het ontbijt niet echt werd bijgevuld waardoor mensen die later ontbijten minder keuze hebben dan de vroege(re) vogels. Voor het overige niks op dit hotel aan te merken."

"Brand new hotel; with very convenient, squeaky clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel has a bike garage where you can also maintain your own bike. In winter, it has some storage for skis. It has even a laundry room. I cooked a few times in the small kitchen in the room, useful as quite a few of the restaurants in the town were closed around the French national holiday. On two steps of the station of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, ideal location for an altitude training cycling camp. Maybe the only thing that I’m missing, is a proper restaurant in the hotel. There is a bar where you can drink something, but they don’t serve food."

"As a returning guest at Les Étincelles hotels for the third time, we unfortunately noticed a decline in the overall experience. We appreciated the room upgrade, and the location remains excellent—perfect ski-in/ski-out access for early and active skiers. The rooms are cosy and welcoming, although sound insulation could be improved as noise from neighbouring rooms is noticeable. The ski room is practical with heated lockers, but lockers are not secured and there is no visible surveillance. The bar and second restaurant are pleasant, offering good après-ski cocktails and solid Savoyard options within the half-board formula. However, several aspects need improvement. Breakfast variety and quality are more limited than before, and presentation feels basic. While dinner shows effort, too many ingredients seem pre-frozen or preserved compared to previous stays. It is also unclear that items like eggs or French toast can be ordered at breakfast. Staff are friendly overall, but internal communication appears inconsistent. Some team members seem inexperienced, and we encountered several mix-ups with transport, reservations, and spa requests. The spa facilities are below expectations for a 4-star hotel. No towels are provided (guests must use room towels), which is not ideal for hygiene. The hammam is underperforming, and the pool area needs better maintenance and refurbishment. We enjoyed our ski week, but will likely look elsewhere next time for a higher-quality experience."
