Kia Orana from the sunny golden shores of Muri Beach, Rarotonga. Welcome to Tangaroa Cove Muri Beach Home, your perfect hideaway retreat for the whole family.

The Home is ideally and peacefully located in the Muri district for those who want to experience the best of what our paradise has to offer with beautiful white sandy beaches, top-class snorkeling, delicious food hotspots and friendly locals, within walking distance.

Our spacious, two-story home boasts an outdoor deck pool and private access to the beach, an open plan spacious kitchen and lounge entertainment area with an extensive patio on the upper floor, and a nice quaint kitchenette and rooms downstairs.

Enjoy four fully furnished en-suite bedrooms, two upstairs and two downstairs.

UPPER FLOOR FACILITIES:
- 2x En-suite bedrooms; one with a super-king bed and the other with two singles that can also make one super-king-size when put together. In addition there is an open side room with a single bed, for extra booking.
- Large open plan living area on the upper floor with all amenities
- BBQ facilities
- Entertainment patio overlooking fantastic views of the Eastern lush mountains, as well as the pool.
- Private rooftop sun-deck overlooking the Muri Lagoon.

LOWER FLOOR FACILITIES
- The lower floor has two en-suite bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one single bed, for extra booking, and the other bedroom has a queen size bed, with bi-fold doors to the pool.
- Bi-fold doors lead to a large surrounding veranda.
- Swimming pool (shared by both upper and lower floor guests).
- Bridge walkway - your 3 sec private access way to the beach

Tangaroa Cove is centrally located in Muri, nearby to bus stops, Muri Night Market, lagoon boat cruises car & bike rentals, restaurants and shops. All within walking distance.

Cancellations, Refunds and Credits:
Cancellations made up to 7 days out from check-in date will be given a full refund of any additional payments made on top of the initial non-refundable 2-night deposit to hold the booking.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 7 days of the booking check-in date.
Dates for your stay can be rebooked to other available dates if your flight travel is affected by official Covid travel/lockdown restrictions.

Mann and Sis Short are your hostess with the mostest and will ensure your stay in the Cook Islands is comfortable and memorable.

We had such a brilliant time during our stay. The house is located close to many amenities. Having our own private walkway to the beach with the use of our own kayaks and paddleboard was awesome. The pool was surrounded by bush which created privacy and also sheltered us from any wind as well. The kids loved having the pool table as well.

We had a great stay. Absolutely perfect for large groups and families. Excellent location and great leisure amenities with pool and downstairs areas. As previous guests have noted, the interior is quite tired and in need of a cosmetic refresh. This would make it 5 stars without question.

Excellent space. All we needed was there. Communication clear from the start. Loved the pool, the crabs, the eeels, the little bridge to the lagoon. The bar, the beds, the furniture and the little cleaner lady was quiet, unobtrusive and very efficient.

Absolute Bliss

We had a fabulous stay arriving late at night to house ready and waiting with lights on, fans going and clean fresh sheets.all facilities and equipment was as advertised (except the outside TV). A Wifi extension and possibly dishwasher for downstairs would be recommended. We will definitely return with a similar sized group and we were so impressed with the prompt communication with Sisi.The location was very central and close to most attractions and supermarkets/restaurants.Our last recommendation would be that the upstairs was lockable you to secure our belongings as the key didn’t work and we couldn’t even lock it from the inside.

Spacious, clean and conveniently located

TC is an impressive well presented home and we were in awe the moment we turned the corner of the drive way. The house is spacious and well ventilated. All 4 rooms were clean and tidy and their ensuite bathrooms was handy. The pool bar, billard table, darts board was great and brought us all together. And the yoga mats and foam roller allowed for stretching! The little bridge over the creek to the private beach area was perfect for morning reflections. It is located about 10 min walk from the Muri Night markets AND the 24 hour store which was convenient. Sisi was professional, quick to reply and accommodating to my requests. Photos do not do it justice! Highly recommendMeitaki maata Sisi!

Holiday Stay

Amazing house, perfect for a family getaway. We had so much fun with the swimming pool, and using the pool tables and dart board. Easy to get to the beach (very interesting watching all the sand crabs) and food options all in walking distance. The house was clean and the host was very attentive. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely stay again.

Perfect private home for the week

This property was perfect for our group of friends, plenty of space to spend time together in any weather. The pool table, dart board and pool were a hit! Having multiple entertainment areas meant we could have some downtime if needed. Great location just a walk away from the markets, tours, restaurants and beach. The private walk to the beach gave us so many opportunities to see all the crabs too! Would definitely book this again and have already recommended to family groups.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay, but the property is ageing. Air conditioning would be very helpful at night or working ceiling fans in bedrooms as was very hot even with the noisy pedestal fans. It was much better staying there than a cramped resort room. Not sure how you can keep the ants or cockroaches out maybe a spray could help, keep all your food and fruit in the fridge, guess thats one downfall of living in the tropics. The lounges were old and musty but comfortable. The pool was refreshing. The showers were showing mould and old. It could be an amazing property with a few renos completed. The decking areas were lovely we had a few games of pool, although their was only one stick with a tip on it. That's a quick fix. Sisi was very helpful with our questions asked, and was quick in her replys. It was a quick walk to Muri night markets, food only, and Muri Beach. Although we did swim in the beach at the back of the house as well. The local people were amazing and its is very, very safe in Rarotonga.

The location cannot be faulted. The facilities and amenities are comprehensive. The property is very comfortable. It is however showing signs of wear and tear and some renovation and re-decorating will take this from very good to outstanding.

Family getaway

We had a great time at this property. The swimming pool, pool table and darts was a real hit. Love the bridge over the creek as it was nice to keep an eye out on all the eels and crayfish. Quick walk to the beach with nice snorkelling and easy access to the small Islands. Layout of the house was perfect for 2 families with separation top and bottom.
