During my recent stay at the hotel, I encountered some challenges with the cleanliness of my room's toilet (literally 💩 in the toilet bowl and its seat). Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the staff, I was initially met with a dismissive response and was informed that I would be charged extra for a room change. The tone of the interaction felt interrogative and unsupportive. However, after expressing my intention to document the condition of the toilet with a video, the staff quickly accommodated my request for a new room. The staff also recorded the video I took and said that it is not acceptable with the management. While I appreciated the eventual resolution, I hope the hotel can improve its responsiveness and customer service approach in similar situations in the future.
