Two bedroom cottage has a queen bed in each bedroom and a futon sleeper in the living room. Tastefully furnished in lodge log decor with a free standing gas fireplace stove in the living room. Full bathroom with shower only. Through the wall air conditioning, cable TV, and wifi for your comfort and relaxation. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided. The full size kitchen comes with a stove/range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is equipped for basic cooking and eating. Outside on the patio is a gas grill, picnic table, and patio chairs for your evening bar-b-q. The cottages set in a park like setting with mature trees, and lots of lush lawn. Just a short walk to the paved bike path or to the lake for some recreation.
Located by beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City just thirty minutes from Mt Rushmore. Easy access to all Black Hills area attractions. Most attractions including Mt Rushmore are 30 minutes or less.
Bring your bikes, walking shoes, or roller blades and enjoy the great paved bike trail that goes for miles along Rapid Creek. Trout fishing in both the Creek and the lake. Paddle boats are available for rent to mingle with the ducks and geese on the lake. Playgrounds for the kids and best of all, mosquitoes are not a problem. Bike rentals to enjoy the miles of paved bike paths around the lake and along the creek.

OUTSTANDING

We visit Rapid City often and let me tell you, this will be our home away from home from now on. The lady at check-in was amazing. The cabin was immaculate, right down to the grill! The area is peaceful and we were just a short walk away from fishing. I can not say enough good things about this place. Thank y’all so much for the great stay!

Lovely vacation spot

Cabin was clean and resort area was lovely. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies so I was able to cook meals for my family. Resort was on a lake next to a beautiful park. We were able to walk to the park and walk around the lake. There is also a nature walk along the creek across the street.

Perfect location

Stayed in one of the cabins with our toddler, and loved everything about the experience. Kitchen had all the necessary supplies to cook meals, and daughter loved the playground and close access to lake to watch the ducks and geese. Even a few deer wandering through the campgrounds. Close proximity to downtown and activities we wanted to go to, while still feeling somewhat secluded. Would highly recommend.

Loved the cabin, thought it would be total air conditioned but had 1 window air conditioning. Worked well the weather turned cooler and opening windows worked. Location was central to sites we wanted to go to both Wyoming and SD.

Nice location

We have never stayed at a private campground before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but the location is very nice. It was quiet and our cabin was in a nice shady spot. There are several parks nearby and a small natural trail. It’s easy to get to the major attractions from here. The cabin was clean and worked well for our family of 5 adults/teens. Staff was very nice.
