« I reserved a Basic Room, 2 Queen Beds for 2 nights, 34 days in advance. I paid $10 per night for the extra Queen bed, as I am a FEMALE travelling with a MALE first cousin. When we checked in, there was NO ONE in the office and we were told that the door was open and our key was in the room. We went in and discovered only ONE bed. « Heck in had no front desk. It was very difficult for my elderly parents who are not tech savvy. They had a very hard time getting g in the room. When they finally got in, the room was great. It was clean and had comfortable beds. »

« Very good location Very friendly staff All really nice except a really major point when you travel for work and have to stand long working days: the breakbast is a joke and best to to drive 5 min to the next door diner. A pity really because this small hotel with this location has it all to be perfect. »

« Room was super clean! Great shower and bathroom set up! A/C was great! Only downside was the pool seemed like it needed to be cleaned a bit and breakfast was lacking pretty badly. »

« I found this to be very well maintained, clean and quiet. For a one night stay that’s all I really want. The area around the place seemed a little odd - condos next door and some sort of commercial operation across the street but no real problem with that. There was in fact a water view but it was kind of meh and not a compelling reason to pay more to stay there. The continental breakfast was basically next to nothing unless you like pre wrapped processed food items like twinkies. Crazy...

Said that cabin I paid for on Hotels.com was not available. The owners felt bad for me and were going to get me lodging. First, stating they were putting me in a nicer property closer to my destination. But ultimately provided a room in motel further from my destination and way less expensive than what I paid for. « I stayed in the oldest hotel part of this vintage resort comprised of multiple related buildings spread out around a large block. You have to realize what you are getting--a very simple square room in an historic building with last century charm and lots of beautifully maintained antiques in the halls. Small room, a real key, old fashioned minimal carpet, tiny bathroom with vintage everything, but clean, with fresh white towels and an antique looking bed with a brand new mattress and crisp white...
