'Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel. Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to. Room attended to daily. The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs.'

'I've stayed here, overnight, on two occasions in the last month. 'Standaard kamer met de nodige voorzieningen, zeer net, goede matras, douche met ligbad, waterverwarmer , instant koffie wordt elke dag aangevuld. Kamer inrichting verouderd maar nog steeds in orde. '

'Nice room,'

'TOP!!'

'Well presented with table service very nice'

'Great pub and hotel, good food and nice people , will come back when in the area. Room was clean and comfortable .'

'The lady that greeted us was lovely and she then told us where our room was. We hoped to eat in the hotel but was told that the chef had called in unable to cook. I tried to find out if we could get breakfast next morning but nobody came back to us. Nobody told us how to exit the building in an emergency and when we left the next morning at 9.45 we had to let ourselves out and leave the keys on the bar having seen no one! Middleham itself is beautiful and the hotel ideally situated but it let...
