The issue I had was during my first night stay. About 4:30AM I was awaken by a beeping sound every 10-15 seconds. I couldn't figure out what it was but I waited about 30 minutes in hopes maybe whatever it was would stop. At 6:30AM it was still happening so I called the front desk. I informed the clerk on duty. She said it probably was the smoke alarm detector battery. She told me she'd have maintenance come fix the problem when they came on duty. So, I figured 8AM the problem would be resolved but at 11:30AM I still was being annoyed by the problem and really annoyed that nobody had come of to fix it. For me, this was very unprofessional and a guest shouldn't have to put up with this more than 5 minutes after informing the front desk. So, I called back down and informed the clerk that I've put up with this for 7 hours now and it wasn't acceptable. She told me she'd have someone come up immediately to solve the problem. Which it did happen but I truly believe if I hadn't called back down 7 hours later. Nobody would have shown up at all until I made that 2nd call. This was my only beef but I think you would agree it was a huge one because a guest shouldn't have had to make a 2nd call to fix such an annoying sound. If you put it into perspective -- 1 beep every 15 seconds = 4 per minute = 240 per hour x that by 7 hours and I had to endure that beep 1680 times before it was fixed. Yes, I could of left the room but I don't like leaving the room unattended
