'Very good service, good breakfast'

'We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. '

'I arrived early to the property and I had to wait approximately 20 minutes until room was ready unfortunately the desk manager delayed to inform me that the room was ready. I took it upon myself to check the room and it was ready 10 minutes ago after waiting 30 minutes. The manager was very rude and insensitive to a guest just arriving to another country expecting high expectations. Secondly upon check out the front desk tried to charge me with additional guest fees which was not a problem but...

'Basic Kitchen utensils and cookware. Only thing I needed was coffee maker. Bought coffee around the corner at convenience store.'

'The stay was pleasant. Be aware that the office closes at 21:30, not midnight like the details shows. Other than that, it was a great stay and plenty of mangos to eat. '

'The private room was very clean and just big enough to stretch out. The air conditioning was very strong. Nikki, the receptionist on duty during our stay, was a wonderful help to us and devoted some of her own time helping us plan our time in Jaco. The pool is lovely, and the hostel owners make a wonderful Gallo Pinto for breakfast every morning.'
