Bedrooms: 3
Two queen bedrooms and one with two single beds all featuring hotel standard linen. A cot for infants can be supplied on request.
Designed to provide restful nights for families and groups of friends.
Bathrooms: 2
Two bathrooms. One ensuite attached to a queen bed room. The second is shared between single bedroom & second queen bedroom. Equipped with towels, shampoo, conditioner, hand/body wash and toilet paper.
Kitchen and living area:
Open plan kitchen and lounge area with incredible views over Lake Wakatipu. The lounge area has an L shaped sofa, TV and heat pump to keep you toasty.
The kitchen is fully equipped to self cater throughout your stay. We provide basics to get you started; oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar and cleaning supplies.
Parking:
Off street parking for two vehicles. **Please note there are 40 external steps up from the carpark. This may not be suitable for all guests.**
Laundry:
A washing machine and dryer available for use throughout your stay.
Surroundings:
Amazing location! - 4 minute drive to Queenstown CBD - 1km walk to town (15-20mins) . Note the walk back is up a steep hill, this may not be suitable for all guests. - Under 10 minute drive to the the airport & Remarkables ski field access road.
Public transport:
Ubers and taxis are readily available. A bus stop can be accessed on Frankton road, just a 5 minute walk away. Please note its a slightly steep walk back up from the bus stop.
Full access to the house, you will share a set of external steps and car parking with two properties below. Two carparks are designated for the use of our property. The property and garden area is very private.
40 external steps from car park to front door. This may not be suitable for all guests travelling & there is no other access. Please ensure this meets all guest needs. Minimal stairs while inside the property.
We recommend all guests to have travel insurance. We will not be held liable for any issues outside of our control. Please ensure you understand our cancellation policy before booking.
By booking with us you agree to our house rules stated below.
Cancellations & damage deposits: 3% of your booking fee is non refundable due to bank charges out of our control. A pre authorized charge of $500 NZD will be placed on your card 2 days before check out - this is a security deposit & will be refunded automatically if no damages occur.

🛠️ Damage, lost keys & callouts We ask that you treat our home with care. If any damage occurs, keys are lost, noise complaints arise or an unnecessary callout is required due to guest actions, we reserve the right to charge $60/hr for management time. 👉 Please note: Callouts required after 5:00pm or on weekends/public holidays will incur a higher fee of $120 p/h for management time.
👥 Guest Numbers & Age Requirement The lead guest must be 25 years or older (ID may be requested) and present during the stay. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if you do not meet the above requirements. The total number of guests must not exceed the number confirmed in the reservation.
🐾 Pets Pets are not permitted in our homes.
🔇 Noise To respect our neighbours, we ask for quiet time between 10:00pm and 7:00am. Noise complaints may incur a minimum $100 NZD fee.

🧹 During Your Stay We appreciate guests leaving the property as they found it: - Please do not rearrange furniture or remove items. - Place rubbish in the appropriate bins. - Place any dishes in the dishwasher and remove unwanted food. - Leave keys in the lockbox upon departure. - All linen is professionally hired, any missing or damaged items will incur a replacement fee.

This is a gem of a place to stay in Queenstown. Amazing lake and mountain views from high on the hill. As mentioned, there are about 40 steps from the driveway to the entrance, but that wasn't an issue for us since we were here for hiking anyway (haha). Spacious kitchen and living area. The location felt private even though we were a short 5 minute drive to town. It's also very walkable to town and to the lake with a bit of a climb on the return. Home is well appointed and very comfortable for a whole family. Would absolutely love to stay here again.
