10/10
We stayed for one week. Our family group was my 2 elderly parents, us, my sister, our 3 adult children and our 4 year old granddaughter. The house accommodated us nicely. My parents stayed in the master bedroom with the on-suite bathroom that had grab bars for the shower. They liked that very much. The other bedrooms were comfortable too. Our son stayed in the office with the pullout sofa. Our daughters and granddaughter were in the room with the bunk bed. The top bunk was not good for an adult. So our daughter used the air mattress from the closet. Unfortunately it wouldn't hold air. She didn't fuss, so we didn't call the host about it. The whole house is on one level. There are grab bars is other areas too. The kitchen is better appointed than described on the website. We were very happy about that. They even have an extra table to use if you get crabs to crack open as well as tools to do that. When we arrived, the closet lights didn't work in the master bedroom closet. After communicating with the host, the lightbulbs were changed the next day. The only negatives are the flies outside which is just what that area has, but we didn't know that, and finding more things to do. We visited the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center to kayak. We went to the historic Wye area. We also went to Kent Island a few times. We chose not to go over the Bay Bridge, which meant we had fewer options. So do your research. Overall we were very pleased with the house.
