'Prachtig hotel op prachtige locatie. Met gezin jammer genoeg maar 1 nacht doorgebracht. Heel vriendelijk personeel met goede service, toffe faciliteiten en goed eten. '
'The staff were great but the property could do with a bit of an upgrade. Shower nozzle was blocked and the shower gel was empty. That being said it was not expensive and we had good craic with Dougie and the other locals in the bar.'

'We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.! '
'Prima hotel.
De ontvangst in dit hotel was prima met een ruime receptie. Het is een groot hotel met veel gasten. De kamers zijn wel goed, schoon, beetje krap, maar alles was er en we hadden ook een prima bed. Verder was de douche/badkamer zeer fijn ( maar ook een beetje krap). Het hotel heeft een houten basis dus alles kraakt en piept, dus je hoort veel van andere gasten. Het parkeren voor de deur is druk, weinig plaats voor de deur maar het hotel heeft extra plekken verderop in het dorp dus je...
'Very nice place in the middle of nowhere! Beautiful located at a lake with view on the mountains.
The consequence of that middle of nowhere is that the wifi from the location (almost) never works, so does your own connection (depending of your provider).
Rooms are small, but okay. Sleeping rooms are nice heated, but if needed they provide additional bed sheets. The rest of the building is pretty cold so take a sweater.

'Lovely old building in centre of Callander. Easy check in at bar. Spotlessly clean bedroom with comfy bed and nice touch is complimentary bottled water and toiletries. Self serve continental breakfast was excellent with a great choice of cereals, yogurts, muffins, flapjacks and toast. Staff were all lovely and welcoming. There is a Car park less than 5 mins walk away and costs £4.50 per day from 8.45 -17.30 so 'free' after that and we walked round at 8.40 the next morning to pay for another...
'Waverly is a really nice place to hav a fantastisch night out. The pub look great and the food is really good.
The focus more om the pub than on the hotel.
Rooms look nice but curtains don't block the sunlight properly so you are awake at 5.30. If that doesn't wake you, the lorries in the busy street will. The windows don't block any sound and cant be opened without having to stick something under them.
