This is a gem of a property — my husband and I took our three young adult children and used all four bedrooms, and all four bathrooms. We loved it, the beach is beautiful, visible from the balcony. The property is great. And Liz is FANTASTIC. Honestly, Liz was the icing on the cake. Constantly available, and even had some local store owners deliver some things to us on Christmas night. December 25! it was the day we arrived and we needed help and she was just amazing.
Two things you need to know: you are staying in a local neighborhood. There are no resorts nearby, it is very authentic. You need to be ready for that. We loved it, the food was fantastic. The locals were great. But you are not in a cocoon among a lot of vacationers.
The second thing is that we were there between Christmas and New Year’s, and the beach was not crowded, and the condo complex was not crowded. But there were still not enough chairs for all of the guests and owners in the property. We had to go down and reserve chairs by beach & pool in the mornings, and the security guards would take all of our belongings if we were away from our the chairs for more than an hour to make room for other people. I do not take this is a terrible negative, it is a very high season there, and for good reason. It’s beautiful! Just know what to expect.
Overall I would say it’s amazing. Lots of great food and Liz Nazaakat everything about everything. Eat at Captain Cook, Jellyfish, Citrus. Buy groceries. Ubers are VERY inexpensive.
